So what is the Lizzie Maguire actress doing to bounce back into shape so quickly?

She said: ‘I just started about a week ago at SoulCycle and I’m addicted to it.

‘It’s a great workout and it’s perfect because it’s only forty-five minutes — where else can you sweat like that in forty-five minutes?’

‘I’m working out because I honestly missed it during my pregnancy – getting in that good, hard workout.

‘I need endorphins in my life to be a happy person.

‘I want my body back but I’m not freaked out or anything – just working out and trying to eat a little bit healthier.’

Baby Luca is Hilary’s first child with husband Mike Comrie. And earlier this month, Hilary shared a picture of her growing little boy as she celebrated Mother’s Day in the States.

‘Me and my beautiful boy,’ she wrote alongside the snap which she posted on Twitter.

‘So much to be thankful for.’

And in an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show recently, Hilary said she can notice little Luca growing and learning every day.

She said: ‘Every single day, it seems like there’s a new face that they’re making. He started to smile about a week ago and that’s the coolest experience. It’s all good.

‘What is to come is such an amazing journey and a lot of work. It’s just like the best thing that’s every happened to you.’

Hilary Duff gave birth to a healthy 7 pound, 6 ounce baby boy on Tuesday, March 20. They’ve named him Luca Cruz Comrie!

“He is surrounded by so much love!! Mom and baby are both doing extremely well,” Duff tweeted on Thursday.

“We are overjoyed and feel like the luckiest parents in the world,” she added.

Hilary Duff’s husband Mike Comrie is going to have a lot more time to spend with their new baby when he arrives!  Mike announced today that he is retiring from the NHL after 11 years.

“To have made the lasting friendships I enjoy today with so many of my former teammates is something that will stay with me for the rest of my life.  It’s the reward that has made all the hard work, the trades, the moves and the surgeries worthwhile.”

Immediately after the news broke, Comrie’s wife of a year and a half took to her Twitter to address her husband’s retirement.

“As many of u know, Mike has announced his retirement. It’s a bittersweet day! He had a wonderful career! But 3 hip surgeries in 5 years is a lot!”

Hilary is due in March with their first baby – a boy.

Three hip surgeries? I would’ve retired after the first one.
