Easy for y’all to say, rich actresses who are all in a committed relationship!
In a recent People video, the star and creator of HBO’s Girls discussed the dating app with co-stars Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet and Allison Williams, who have varying levels of familiarity with the popular phenomenon.
“It’s for having sex specifically,” Kirke argued.
“If you’re talented at it, you can have sex eventually,” Williams said, “but…”
“Have you seen there’s Furry Friends? It’s Tinder for dogs,” Dunham said, presumably referring to the app Pet Finder, which she tweeted about in January 2014. “You put in your desires for a dog and then you swipe and they match you with a dog.”
Moments later, Mamet had a realization: “Oh, wait! Tinder and Grindr are different!”
“Grindr is gay,” Dunham and Williams said unison.
“I can’t keep up!” Mamet said in mock exasperation.
“It’s not about being famous. It’s not about being anything. It’s not even about being in a committed relationship,” Dunham told her four friends. “I believe Tinder is a tool for murder.”

Of course, Dunham is dating fun. musician Jack Antonoff, Kirke is married to lawyer Michael Mosberg, Mamet is seeing actor Evan Jonigkeit and Williams is planning a wedding with the co-founder of College Humor, Ricky Van Veen. So you know, why WOULD they be familiar with tinder? That being said, maybe have other dating suggestions for us single ladies…?
