Olivia Wilde graces the June cover of Glamour magazine, and I think she looks amazing! Olivia will be seen next in ‘Cowboys vs. Aliens’ opposite Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford.
The ‘House M.D.’ opens up about her divorce from Tao Ruspoli, whom she married when she was 18, and getting back into the dating scene.
“The mark of a good marriage is partnership and continuing to feel inspired by your spouse,” she tells the magazine. “I had that with Tao. But the end is not necessarily the tragedy. Staying in a relationship that is no longer working is the tragedy. Living unhappily—that’s the tragedy.”
What does she think of getting married so young? “Everyone said it to me—and I had to figure it out for myself—but you change so much. I’ve learned it’s important to spend time in a relationship with yourself and not being defined by your partner.”
She was rumored to have dated Justin Timberlake (after his split from Jessica Biel) and Ryan Gosling recently. With that said, she says she’s not a player. “I wish I could play the field. But it’s so not me. I go 100 percent into everything. And I’m a really good girlfriend.”
“I’m opening up my heart to the idea of dating. It’s funny—my friends would always come to me for romantic advice, [but] I know nothing, and things have changed since I was dating in high school! I’m really trying hard to spend this time working on myself.”
Hollywood legend Kirk Douglas offered ET an encouraging health update about his Oscar-winning son, Michael Douglas, who’s battling throat cancer.
Michael’s appetite is back and he’s starting to feel feisty again, Kirk told ET at a black-tie dinner gala paying tribute to Harrison Ford in Santa Barbara on Friday.
At the event Harrison’s longtime love, Calista Flockhart, watched on as Kirk presented Harrison with a special honor: the Santa Barbara International Film Festival’s fifth annual Kirk Douglas Award for Excellence in Film.
The 26th Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival takes place January 27 through February 6, 2011.
The first trailer has finally arrived for “Cowboys & Aliens,” Jon Favreau’s adaptation of the Platinum Studios comic of the same name (and really, why would you change that name), offering mainstream audiences a peek at some of the footage that wowed attendees at San Diego Comic-Con.
Featuring an all-star cast that includes Daniel Craig, Olivia Wilde, and Harrison Ford, the film follows a mysterious stranger who arrives in town with no memory of his past or the weird shackle on his wrist. When aliens attack the town, he discovers that he might hold the key to fighting them off — but only if he can get everyone inside the town (and outside) to work together.
I love Jon Favreau! I’m a huge fan of his movies. Check the trailer below – let me know what you think!
Man, today is trailer day! In case you missed it – here are two other trailers worth watching!
Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart tied the knot in Santa Fe, New Mexico on Tuesday, the actress’ rep confirms to UsMagazine.com. The ceremony took place at the Governor’s mansion, where Governor Bill Richardson officiated, the rep added. (Harrison is currently filming the sci-fi western Cowboys and Aliens in the state.)
Flockhart, 45, met Ford, 67, at the 2002 Golden Globes; she accidentally spilled wine on the Indiana Jones star.
Together ever since, the pair are now parents to Liam, the boy whom Flockhart adopted in January 2001. Nuptial rumors have been percolating since early last year, when it was reported that Ford proposed over Valentine’s Day weekend.
It’s the first marriage for the Brothers and Sisters actress. Ford has been married twice before (to Mary Marquardt and screenwriter Melissa Mathison) and has four biological children, plus three grandchildren.
