That’s right- I’m coining Taylor Swift‘s posse of highly successful young women the Taylor-mades, because Taylor is del facto den mom to these powerhouses. And…she has a new recruit!
The A list Millennial gal pals were joined by Harry Potter alum and feminist activist Emma Watson for a fun group photo where everyone looked stylish and excited!
In the cute group shot posted by British singer Lauren Aquilina, the “Blank Space” singer, 25, posed with her arm around the He For She advocate, also 25.
“Spent tonight surrounded by badass girls and couldn’t be happier about it,” Aquilina captioned the photo with models Martha Hunt, Karlie Kloss, Watson, Swift, and singer Sydney Sierota.
Do you think Emma’s a good fit for the Taylor-Mades? I DO.

I don’t want to live in a world where Katy Perry and Taylor Swift aren’t fighting.
Yesterday I told y’all that Katy Perry’s people registered a new song called “1984” with music-licensing organization BMI. Given the similarity between “1984” and Tay’s album called “1989” (which you definitely know about unless you’ve been living in a very deep cave without wifi), the track was rumored to be about Taylor.
BUT- NOT SO!
“Katy Perry’s managers at Direct Management Group confirm that this story is completely false,” a rep for Perry at Universal tells Billboard. “Katy Perry was not involved in writing, singing, recording or registering this song.”
BMI confirmed that the “1984” song was registered back in September by BMG Platinum Songs, affiliated with Katy but NOT like, her stable of people. The song is still on BMI’s site with Katy Perry listed under the “Artists” tag…which could mean it’s just a popular pop song that crossed the desk of her people.
So, I guess there really IS nothing to see here…until we spot Kendrick Lamar and a bunch of models shooting something in bondage gear. Am I right?!

Katy Perry‘s about ready to give Taylor Swift a taste of her own medicine…
Now that “Bad Blood” is a major hit and MAJORLY rumored to be about Katy and Tay Tay’s busted-ass relationship, Katy wants in on the passive agressive songwriting party. And, we’ll get to hear the results soon enough…because Katy Perry has registered a new song with her music publisher, BMI, and it is entitled “1984.”
Follow this, folks: Katy Perry was born in 1984. Her frenemy, Taylor, named her latest album after her own birth-year, 1989. I think making this connection may make me a superspy, or you know, just someone chomping at the bit for another good piece of Katy/Taylor rivalry fodder.
Their mutual ex John Mayer doesn’t appear in the credits alongside those of “1984” songwriters (the song was written by Dallas Austin, Andreas Carlsson (who co-wrote “Waking Up in Vegas”) and Tokio Nazarene) but can you imagine if he gave Katy some kind of personal deets she could use for the song?
Although, the song could also just be about Katy Perry’s fave dystopian sci-fi novel, 1984. Who knows.

Ugh, of COURSE Chris Brown is getting into more crap, right after he finally worked off all of those battery community service hours. Classy!
Early monday morning, the singer was accused of brawling with another guy during a basketball game in Las Vegas, and police have named him a suspect for battery. TMZ reports:
The altercation went down at the Palms Casino Resort — according to police … Chris was playing hoops at 3:42 AM and at some point he got into an argument with one of the guys playing — and allegedly punched him. The pickup game was being played in the famous Hardwood Suite … where Chris was staying.
Police responded to the scene, but didn’t talk to Brown when they got there.
Cops say Chris now has 2 options: either sign a citation for misdemeanor battery, and agree to show up in court to face the charge — OR take his chances with the D.A … who would decide whether to press charges.
Man, Chris Brown can’t catch a break! NOT. He’s terrible. What do you think should happen to Chris Brown?
