After blowing through $10 million, reality stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are finally admitting to their faults and getting ready to file for bankruptcy. But that didn’t stop them for giving it one last shot.

After they found out The Hills would not be renewed earlier this year, Heidi and Spencer concocted a plan to get attention by divorcing shortly after their anniversary. The reality duo tell Life & Style there was interest in a series covering their split from British TV network ITV, so they splashed down cash to move their act to Costa Rica. But that deal fell through and soon after, they called off the divorce proceedings and reunited.

“The divorce was real — just the idea behind it was different than most people’s,” Spencer tells Life & Style. “Divorcing was the only way to keep Heidi’s career going because everyone hated me so much. Look at Sandra Bullock — her divorce from Jesse James was the best thing to happen to her image.”

Now, they worry how they’ll ever get themselves out of the cash crisis. “I can’t make regular money because I was playing such an unlikeable character on TV to keep my checks coming. Who wants to hire the jerk from The Hills?”

Just hours after Us Magazine reported that Bret Michaels and Tish Cyrus had an affair while she was married to Billy Ray, Celebuzz has obtained a statement from Michaels’ rep denying the report with some very strong words.

Michaels’ rep Joann Mignano tells Celebuzz: “The reports of my client having an affair with Tish are completely unfounded and a complete fabrication.”

The statement continues, saying that “Bret has been a close friend of the family for some time and has worked with Miley. It’s unfortunate that the sad breakup of Billy Ray and Tish has to be further tainted with these lies being reported.”

Bret worked with Miley Cyrus last year to record his single ‘Nothing to Lose,’ which Cyrus sang a part of. The Us report that Michaels’ publicist so vehemently denies claims that he and Tish became romantically involved following his time recording with Miley.

Billy Ray and Tish announced their plans to divorce last week in a seemingly out-of-the-blue split. They had been married for 17 years, and had five children — including Miley — together.

The reason Miley Cyrus’ parents are splitting after 17 years of marriage: Mom Tish had an affair with rocker Bret Michaels, reports the new Us Weekly (on newsstands Wednesday). When Billy Ray learned of it – as well as at least one other fling – he filed for divorce Oct. 27, sources tell Us Weekly.

Michaels, 47, “became close to the entire family” this past February when he and Miley released the racy duet “Nothing to Lose,” an insider tells Us Weekly. He and Tish, 43, soon began carrying on an on-the-sly romance, sources tell Us Weekly. Tish was seen at Michaels’ Feb. 28 show at the Key Club in L.A., and he had once asked her production company’s help to adapt his book, Roses & Thorns, into a movie.

“Billy Ray was completely unaware of what was going on,” the source says of the “Achy Breaky Heart” crooner, who is seeking joint custody of their three minor children, Miley (who turns 18 Nov. 23), Braison, 16, and Noah, 10. (They have three older children from previous relationships.)

Though a rep for Michaels refutes the allegations, telling Us Weekly, “There has never been an affair or a fling,” and a rep for Tish also denies the dalliance, the Cyrus source insists, “It was a professional relationship that turned into something more.”

Randy Travis and his wife, Elizabeth, have split after 19 years of marriage and 34 years of working together, their publicist confirmed to CMT.com. Their divorce became final on Friday, October 29.

“Elizabeth and Randy Travis have agreed to part ways,” the official statement said. “Elizabeth will remain Mr. Travis’ personal manager. They do not intend to comment any further and ask for your respect for their privacy during this time.”

Randy, a well-respected country singer and occasional actor, has won six CMAs, nine ACMs, 10 AMAs and six Grammys.

The couple met when the then 17-year-old Randy was performing in a Charlotte, North Carolina, club that Elizabeth owned. “Lib” and Randy moved to Nashville together soon after where she hired him as a cook and singer at “The Nashville Place.” Their romance developed and they married in 1991. She is 17 years his senior.

Courteney Cox is speaking out for the first time about her split with husband David Arquette.

“I don’t know what will happen, but this is not like we’re getting divorced,” Cox says in a new interview with TV Week. “This is a separation and I think that takes a lot of courage . . . Whatever is supposed to happen will be the best thing for us.”

Still, Cox acknowledges that she and her husband of 11 years are no longer on the same page. “Sometimes you just realize ‘Wow, we actually have grown apart,” she says.

I think divorce is awful, and should be avoided if possible. With that said, I’m not sure I could ever get over David sleeping with another woman (or women) during their separation! Unless Courteney Cox was also getting some on the side – I don’t see how they can recover from something like this. Especially when David goes on the Howard Stern show and airs all their dirty laundry. What do you think. Could you forgive David and make the marriage work?
