Sometimes, Christmas brings out the best in people.
Despite being estranged from her sometimes-bonkers (okay, let’s face it, most of the time-bonkers) mother Courtney Love, Frances Bean Cobain let bygones be bygones on Christmas day, communicating on social media with her mom.
Ah, Twitter. The great equalizer?
Love has made several attempts to reunite with her only daughter, but extended another olive branch on Tuesday in the spirit of the holiday.
“Merry Christmas Bean!! Love you more than you could ever know. Xmamma,” she tweeted to Cobain.
Hours later, Frances gave her mom a response. Even though it wasn’t completely loving, it was an acknowledgement, which is something coming from a daughter who has been estranged from her mom for several years! Said Frances:
“@Courtney merry Christmas kooksmcgee.”
Love was BESIDE HERSELF when she received the response, and responded back to Frances by saying:
“That tweet was the best gift ever, its all I need even if it’s a dammed social network J miss that little head of yours,” she wrote. “That beautiful little head, and those long legs. Oh and by the way, sorry about the second hand smoke thing re: baby pic.”
Yikes. If you can’t change ’em, tweet at em.
