Courtney Love is Heading to the Small Screen!

The 2014 Cannes Lions - Press Conference

Hole rocker, Courtney Love will be visiting the small screen this Fall on FX’s Sons of Anarchy playing a pre-school teacher of all things.  While Love has appeared in films, even earning a Golden Globe nomination for her role in The People vs. Larry Flynt, this will be her first time on television.

The rocker will join the show for a multi-episode arc as Ms. Harrison—the pre-school teacher of Jax’s (Charlie Hunnam) eldest son Abel.

Her character plays a pivotal role as she takes a special interest in Abel, which will most likely catch the attention of Abel’s mother, series regular Drea de Matteo.

Love won’t be the only famous cameo in this final season of the hit drama.  Marilyn Manson will be playing the role of a white supremacist in a multiple episode arc.

Fans of Love’s music don’t have to worry that she’s quitting the business to become a full-time thespian however.  She recently hinted at a duet with none other than Miley Cyrus.  So I guess we have that to look forward to.

Frances Bean Cobain Offered “Bella” Role in Twilight

Courtney Love is saying lots of crazy stuff, I feel like Amanda Bynes should be her daughter, not Frances Bean Cobain!

The Hole singer said on Thursday’s The Howard Stern Show that Frances was one of the top choices for the star-making role Kristen Stewart eventually won..Bella in Twilight.  “When she was 13 she was offered Twilight. She was offered Bella in Twilight,” Love ranted.

Here’s more from GossipCop:

Love told Howard Stern that, “That’s a true story,” saying her daughter didn’t even audition for the part, but “someone just saw a picture of her in a magazine and sent me the script.”

However, the singer says Cobain immediately rejected the purported offer, allegedly telling her mom, “That’s a sexist Mormon piece of sh*t. It would have destroyed her life,” said Love. ANYONE buying this? There are two problems with this story. 1, why would anyone send LOVE a script? I’m sure there are more responsible Frances Bean Cobain handlers that would have probably received the thing.  Second, COURTNEY LOVE SAYING SOMETHING IS GOING TO RUIN YOUR LIFE is kind of like a fish calling water wet.

That’s an expression, right?

Weird Twitter Reunion Between Frances Bean and Courtney Love

Sometimes, Christmas brings out the best in people.

Despite being estranged from her sometimes-bonkers (okay, let’s face it, most of the time-bonkers) mother Courtney Love, Frances Bean Cobain let bygones be bygones on Christmas day, communicating on social media with her mom.

Ah, Twitter. The great equalizer?

Love has made several attempts to reunite with her only daughter, but extended another olive branch on Tuesday in the spirit of the holiday.

“Merry Christmas Bean!! Love you more than you could ever know. Xmamma,” she tweeted to Cobain.

Hours later,  Frances gave her mom a response.  Even though it wasn’t completely loving, it was an acknowledgement, which is something coming from a daughter who has been estranged from her mom for several years! Said Frances:

“@Courtney merry Christmas kooksmcgee.”

Love was BESIDE HERSELF when she received the response, and responded back to Frances by saying:

“That tweet was the best gift ever, its all I need even if it’s a dammed social network J miss that little head of yours,” she wrote. “That beautiful little head, and those long legs. Oh and by the way, sorry about the second hand smoke thing re: baby pic.”

Yikes. If you can’t change ’em, tweet at em.
