Rumor has it ABC was very close to canceling ‘Cougar Town’. But Courteney Cox and her cast members no longer have to worry, as TBS has ordered a fourth season of the comedy to start airing in 2013!

TBS to the rescue!

The cable network has ordered a fourth season of the comedy to begin airing in early 2013. In addition, TBS has purchased the rights to Cougar Town‘s first three seasons of 61 episodes that originally aired on ABC. “Cougar Town is a smart, whimsical sitcom that draws its humor from likable, relatable characters” said Michael Wright, president, head of programming for TBS. “We are thrilled to have Cougar Town moving to the TBS neighborhood as the network continues to expand its slate of original comedy series.”

On ABC this season, Cougar Town averaged 5.3 million viewers and a 1.9 rating in the adult demo, nosediving after it was moved to Tuesday nights and away from its previous Modern Family lead-in. With the axe hanging over the show, TBS stepped in and rescued Courteney Cox and Co. from cancellation.

Busy Phillips, who plays Laurie Keller on the comedy, had a couple choice words for ABC earlier this week. Before she learned the fate of her show, she said:

“It’s not been fun to feel like the ugly stepsister of the network,” Phillipps, who plays Laurie Keller, told E! Online. “They moved us around, they took us off the air for months … If TBS is willing to launch the show in a real great way and we would actually have like billboards and commercials, that would be really cool.”

Philipps has been vocal about her frustrations. Initially, when ABC decreased “Cougar Town’s” episode order, she told TVLine, “The writers have amazing stuff planned out for this season, and now they’re going to have to condense … I feel bad for them. I feel bad for everyone. It’s a bummer. It sucks.”

I only watched one – maybe two episodes of ‘Cougar Town’. I just didn’t find it funny, not my kind of humor I guess. Are any of you still watching it?

David Arquette announced last month via Twitter that he and girlfriend Christina McLarty had split. Now sources tell Life & Style that the couple are most definitely back together!

“David and Christina are fully back together,” a friend of David’s tells Life & Style. “They spend all their time together. They are totally boyfriend and girlfriend again. David is happy and he says he loves her.”

“Yes, it’s true. They are back together,” another source confirms to Life & Style.

The couple were also seen out and about in West Hollywood over the weekend. David was first spotted with the Entertainment Tonight reporter at Comic Con last July after meeting at a boat party over the summer. By September, he couldn’t stop gushing about her.

“She’s adorable,” he told Howard Stern on Howard’s radio show in September. “I’m not one to run around with different girls. I like someone that makes me feel good and that I can make feel good.”

In November, he went on Howard’s show again announcing that the relationship was serious and he was in love.

Earlier this year, Christina mirrored the same sentiments, saying, “It’s wonderful. I love him.”

David is separated (but not divorced) from Courteney Cox, and they have a daughter together, 7-year-old Coco. Christina was previously married to Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis for one month.

David Arquette is single again. The actor announced on his Twitter page last night that he and girlfriend Christina McLarty have gone their separate ways. “Sadly I’m single again,” Arquette wrote, explaining, “A long distance relationship proved to be too difficult.”

McLarty is a reporter on “Entertainment Tonight which is based in New York. David lives in Los Angeles.

The pair have been dating since last summer.

Maybe now he’ll get back together with Courteney Cox? The two never legally divorced, so technically they’re still married!

Former celebrity couple Courteney Cox and David Arquette separated almost a year ago and still haven’t filed divorce papers.  Courteney shares that despite the split, they are still as close as ever.

“He’s my favorite person in the world.   He’s my best friend. No matter what happens in our future, he’s my very best friend.”

David and Courteney also still work together at their production company and just sold a show that sounds pretty similar to their own situation.

“We sold one show, Ten Year, about a couple who separated after 10 years of marriage. It’s not really about David and me, but it’s something we related to and we thought we should tell a story about people who could actually get along after being separated. It’s telling a different version.”

It’s so refreshing when two people genuinely care for each other and the split doesn’t turn into a publicity blood bath!

Courteney Cox and David Arquette separated last October after 11 years of marriage. The two have remained friends, and it seems have been keeping up their business relationship as well! According to TV Line, the pair are in development on a sitcom that would track the ups and downs of relationships over the course of a decade. The new sitcom, produced by the pair’s Coquette productions, will be called ’10 Years’.

Cox would only work behind the scenes, though Arquette — who is on this season of “Dancing With The Stars” — could feature on screen in the show. They both appeared in this year’s “Scream 4.”

Since their split, and some difficult substance-based times for Arquette, the pair has been open about their admiration and affection for one another. Back in April, Cox told David Letterman that, “I don’t know what’s gonna happen, I really don’t. We’re getting along so well that I hate to, like, rock the boat.” In March, as Arquette left rehab, she said to “Extra,” “Oh my God, I’m so proud of him! Best he’s ever looked! He’s so cute that I’m like, dude, I don’t understand. Really?! Why are you that cute right now?”

Courtney Cox and David Arquette are in this on again off again sort of separation at the moment. They’re still examining their relationship and trying to figure out if they can make it work.

The family dined at Il Sole last night in West Hollywood. Courtney dressed casually with no make up and a tight fitting see-through tank top and jeans. She looked pretty amazing even with no effort taken. David took Coco out the back to avoid the cameras.

Courtney is gearing up for the third season of her hit show Cougartown. She’s actually going to take on the directorial reins for an episode this season as well.

I don’t watch that show (can’t stand it!) so this means nothing to me. Do any of you still watch it?

Looks like things are heating up between Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux! The couple, who have only been dating for a month, have been spending a lot of time together lately!

On May 27th, Jennifer threw a small party for her closest friends, including Chelsea Handler and Courteney Cox, in order to introduce them to her new screenwriter boyfriend!

“They all had a great time and enjoyed Justin’s company,” a source tells PEOPLE.

As for the new couple – who first became friendly on the Georgia set of Wanderlust last fall – “they’re doing great.” Adds the source: “He’s edgier than the guys Jen usually dates. She really likes him!”

PS: All those rumors you’ve been hearing about a Jennifer Aniston/Courteney Cox feud are completely BS. An US Weekly report made the rounds on blogs Wednesday that Jen and Courteney have “tension” over the way Cox has handled her separation with David Arquette.

“It is a complete fabrication,” Aniston’s rep Stephen Huvane tells Celebuzz. “Jennifer has always and continues to consider Courteney a real and close friend.”

“There was no falling out,” adds Huvane.
