Scott Evans, little bro of Chris Evans…got BUSTED this morning!

Lil’ Evans was known to some as the younger brother who talked Chris Evans into dancing at the gay bar, or that TV cop who loved dudes on  One Life to Live! Now, he’s got a new reputation: a guy who was arrested after allegedly buying dope off an undercover cop!

Oops.

Evans was booked by LAPD this morning for attempting to possess a controlled substance, which is a felony.  When he was released, Scott promptly wrote on his Facebook page:

“Most ridiculous night of my life in LA so far. At least I made it a year before getting arrested.”

What an ambitious guy!  Oy.

Robert Downey Jr. certainly knows what he’s doing, that’s pretty clear this morning. The Hollywood Reporter announced this morning that the 47-year-old actor stands to earn $50 million from ‘The Avengers’. $50 million!!!

The actor negotiated a new contract back in 2008, after the first ‘Iron Man’ movie earned $585 million at the box office. His new contract stated that he would receive a portion of Marvel’s revenue from any future film where he plays Tony Stark.

His deal alone puts him light years above his costars. Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo each earned about $2 million – $3 million for the film.

Marvel has a history of cutting sharp deals. Terrence Howard, who starred with Downey Jr. in the first “Iron Man” film, was reportedly faced with a 50 to 80 percent pay cut for the sequel after the studio learned director Jon Favreau planned to limit his role. Howard’s agents smarted, and though it’s unknown if he walked out or if Marvel decided to go a different direction, Don Cheadle replaced Howard for the sequel.

“The Avengers” continues to smash through box office records and recently surpassed the $1 billion mark in global earnings, so the $50 million payout is unlikely to put a big dent in Marvel’s balance sheet. The film is currently making “Avatar”-type money, a big relief to Disney, which bought Marvel and desperately needed a hit after the crippling loss it suffered on “John Carter.”

Good for Robert, that’s all I have to say. If a movie is going to make over $1 billion in the box office, then the actors should see some of that!

‘The Avengers’ premiered in London yesterday, and all the “Avengers” were on hand for the celebration. Scarlett Johansson wore a colorful Prada dress. I’m not a huge fan of the ruffle around the waist (doesn’t look like it belongs!) but I like the idea of this dress. I like the flowers, and I love the colors.

PS: Reviews are starting to trickle in for this movie, and so far so good! The Hollywood Reporter gave it two thumbs up!

The All-Star Game of modern superhero extravaganzas, The Avengers is humongous, the film Marvel and its legions of fans have been waiting for. It’s hard to imagine that anyone with an appetite for the trademark’s patented brand of fantasy, effects, mayhem and strangely dressed he-men will be disappointed; not only does this eye-popping 3D display of visual effects fireworks feature an enormously high proportion of action scenes, but director Joss Whedon has adroitly balanced the celebrity circus to give every single one of the superstar characters his or her due. Worldwide box office returns will be, in a word, Marvelous.

Chris Evans is out promoting his new movie (and soon-to-be summer blockbuster) ‘The Avengers’. Chris returns as Captain America in the Marvel movie, alongside other superheros like Thor, Iron Man, the Black Widow, the Hulk and more.

The shy actor sat down with Playboy Magazine for an interesting interview. He talks about Scarlett Johansson and how “blessed” (ahem) she is. He talks about Robert Downey Jr., and the types of women he’s attracted to.  He says that we would be surprised with the kinds of women he’s attracted to, but after describing “her” I’m not that surprised at all. I could see him going for exactly the kind of woman he describes (like I know the man).

On co-star Robert Downey Jr. “When we started filming The Avengers, Captain America had not come out yet, and my big concern with Captain America was the press. I love doing one-on-ones. This feels like a conversation. This feels normal to me. But when you get on a stage, all of a sudden you feel like, man, there are 100 people just looking at you. It’s a little bit of a strange feeling. Your heart starts pounding, and that’s scary. Downey was good at just making me feel calm, saying, ‘Look, you’re not alone in this,’ and helping my confidence.”

On co-star Scarlett Johansson: “She is a beautiful lady. She really got blessed. I love that girl, man. She’s like my sister. I’ve known her for 10 years. She’s just one of the smartest people I know. It’s great when someone with a razor-sharp intellect wants to have fun. A lot of my buddies who like to have fun are a little lowbrow, and that’s fun. It’s enjoyable, but you can laugh at only so many farts.”

On being picky with da ladies: “I guess it’s a perfect combination of things. I’m incredibly picky, but that doesn’t mean I look for perfection. I like strange things. I wish you could see some of the girls I have genuinely had crushes on in my life. They’re not the girls you would assume. My friends cannot figure out the girls that, for some reason, I fall for. It’s a unique blend of traits, and on top of that, I’m really enjoying myself right now. I like being able to do what I want to do. If I wantto sleep until three today, I’m gonna sleep until three. If I want to go to Vegas this weekend, guess what–I’m going to Vegas. That’s a tough thing to walk away from, and so it has to be the right person. The pickiness makes that an uphill battle. I like girls who are self-deprecating. I like girls who make fun of themselves. If you can’t poke fun at yourself, what are you? I love making fun of myself, so I need a girl who can do that and mean it. And I like generosity. I like compassionate people. I’m not looking for some businesswoman who’s out there making millions and just here to take the world by storm. I just want someone with a good soul. That’s about it. The rest I’m really flexible on. I like a good ass, though. I will say that. It’s Playboy, right? I can say that? I like a big ass.”

His celebrity crush: “I used to be in love with Sandra Bullock when I was growing up. Sandy B. was my girl. I remember seeing Speed when I was in seventh grade and just thinking, That’s her. I can’t say I know her, but from what I’ve heard, she’s fantastic.”

I’m not a huuuuuuuuuuuge Chris Evans fan. I don’t think he’s particularly good looking, and to be honest, I can think of about two movies he’s starred in (I didn’t see ‘Captain America’). I’m excited to see ‘The Avengers’ – mostly because my boys are going to love it.

Last night Marvel’s mega-star-studded film ‘The Avengers’ premiered in Los Angeles, and all the stars were there!

Scarlett Johansson looked amazing (that’s why she gets two pictures) in a black Versace dress, and uber-sexy shoes! Her hair looks great, love the jewelry, the makeup – the whole look!

I’m half excited to see the movie. I’m excited to see it – if it’s good. I liked the first Iron Man movie – but after that, I haven’t been a huge fan of the Marvel movies. Hopefully it’s good!

I’ve never really been a huge Chris Evans fan. In fact, as I sit here – I can’t think of a single movie he’s ever been in. I know I’ve seen his movies, but they were completely unmemorable, because now I’m drawing a blank. I was a bit surprised to hear that he had been chosen to star as Captain America.

Chris Evans on getting over his initial reluctance to take on the role of Captain America:
“I said no a bunch, and every time I said no, I woke up the next morning so happy and content. I kept saying no; they kept coming back. And eventually I was like, ‘You know what? This is your biggest fear—this is exactly what you have to do.’ ”

…on his character in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World:
“The character’s supposed to be this horrible actor and a douchebag, and I get the job and so many people were like, ‘You’re perfect, you’re gonna crush it!’ ” he continued with feigned anger. “I was like, So I got this role as an a–hole actor, and you guys think I nailed it? That I’m a natural and that nobody in town can do it better?”

…on how seeing sunsets are the “happiest” times in his life:
“The point is that when I see a sunset or a waterfall or something, for a split second it’s so great, because for a little bit I’m out of my brain, and it’s got nothing to do with me. I’m not trying to figure it out, you know what I mean? And I wonder if I can somehow find a way to maintain that mind stillness.”

Dianna Agron isn’t sitting at home pining after breaking up with Alex Pettyfer. The Glee actress, 24, is already dating hunky Captain America: The First Avenger star Chris Evans, 29 — and his family approves. According to an insider, the two have been casually dating after first meeting at the Weinstein/Montblanc pre-Oscar party in February. “Chris’ brother Scott is a huge fan of her show, and he particularly loves Dianna,” says the insider to In Touch. “He and his friends like to joke that as long as she stays on the show, the family will welcome her with open arms!”
