Man, it’s Christmas, and EVERY CELEB’S getting a RING!
The newest celebrity to don a shiny piece of jewelery is singer Brandy, who is engaged to Ryan Press, Us Weekly has learned. According to an insider, “They are thrilled and happy and Brandy feels this is so right.” Prior to accepting Press’ proposal, though the 33-year-old has openly expressed her desire to marry the music executive.
“I keep hearing about a ring. People keep calling me, hinting to me about it, but I don’t know,” she told Sister2Sister magazine in August. “I’m going to be patient and let it happen and just let it be. . . I guess it will happen when it’s the right time.”
That same month, the singer spoke to Us about how Press had restored her faith in men. “I had given up on love a long time ago. It just didn’t seem to work for me, so I was single for a very long time,” the Moesha star said. “I stopped looking for love and then I ran into my boyfriend.”
She continued, “He just loves me for who I am. I don’t have to camouflage anything for him or put on a mask. I can completely be myself and he loves me so much and I love him just the way he is, too.”
Aw, we LOVE this! Brandy has has a 10-year-old daughter, Sy’rai, with ex Robert Smith. Sounds like she may have more with her new, awesome husband…

How did we miss this before? I’ve never seen a closeup of this terrible tattoo before! According to TMZ, the artist decided he didn’t like his original tattoo – because it looked to phallic. Yeah, no kidding!
The tattoo artist tells TMZ … Brandy’s work hadn’t been completed when she posted the photos online last month … but after certain people hinted the trunk resembled some male genitalia, the artist decided to snip the tip.
The artist, Peter Koskela, tells us, “I wanted to fix the offending tip … remove the whole phallic aspect. I told her I’d just swing it upwards.”
We’re told the trunk-trimming went down earlier this week — hopefully, a mohel was present at the time.

But it’s been a long time. We’re talking years,” Brandy admits.
The opportunity has certainly been there. “I actually went on a blind date a couple months ago that was very interesting but nothing serious,” she says. She even confirms her interest in rapper Flo Rida. “I was very interested in him,” Brandy says. “I mean, how can you not be — he’s very attractive. But there was just something about us that didn’t click.”
Until Brandy meets the right guy, DWTS is helping her feel confident again. “I always relate sexy to being in love,” she says. “But I’m starting to realize that if I put on a little leotard like when I danced the rumba, I could feel sexy a lot more!”
