Angelina Jolie and her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton are obviously on really good terms. Earlier this year it was reported that Billy Bob was writing a memoir, and Angelina Jolie had written the forward to it.

It’s been 10 years since the couple divorced, but the two remain good friends. In Billy’s new book, ‘The Billy Bob Tapes: A Cave Full of Ghosts’, Angelina says her former partner “has a big beautiful heart.”

Life & Style has gotten their hands on the forward, and here is an excerpt:

“He has an unmatchable wit and can make you laugh until your face hurts,” Angie writes.

The 36-year-old actress, who got engaged to partner of seven years Brad Pitt in April, gives even more details about Billy Bob’s personality.

“To be with him is like being with a mad mathematician,” she adds. “He is constantly counting and repeating.”

Along with talking about the things the 56-year-old actor loves and dislikes, Angie admits the world, and she herself, would not be the same without him around.

“Some people walk through life able to quiet the voices in their heads. He can’t. And I, and everyone else who knows him well, we love him for it,” she says, ending with, “I know one thing: The world would certainly be a hell of a lot more dull if that man weren’t in it.”

Billy recently opened up about his marriage to Angie, calling the failure of their relationship his fault.

“I blew it because I didn’t think I was good enough for her,” he said. “She has one way she wanted to live her life and I had another way to live mine, and I was just too insecure.”

Billy Bob Thornton and Angie Jolie, who co-starred in the 1999 film Pushing Tin, married in 2000 and were divorced in 2003.

So many people ran with this story saying the couple were obviously still doing each other – but I’m not buying that.

Earlier this morning I covered a story from E! News, claiming Brad Pitt was being named the new face of Chanel No. 5, and now we’re getting the official press release from Chanel confirming the news!

Chanel has released this “official” image of Brad Pitt, confirming the deal.

Ooh, la la! C’est Brad! Brad Pitt’s famous mug has landed him a major deal unrelated to blockbuster films — a spokesmodel deal with Chanel.

“Chanel has selected world renowned actor Brad Pitt to be the face of the upcoming advertising campaign for CHANEL No. 5,” the brand said in a release.

The Chanel deal mark two firsts: it’s the 48-year-old actor’s debut beauty spokesmodel gig and the brand’s first time having a man represent its famously iconic women’s scent that launched back in the 1920s.

Pitt follows in the footsteps of Nicole Kidman, who starred in the short film No. 5 The Film in 2004 and Audrey Tautou who has held the spot as the scent’s visage since 2008.

Now, let’s all gossip about how much money Brad will make off the deal. You KNOW it was well into the 7 figure range. I can’t wait to see the print ads!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are making tons of money as the faces of fashion and beauty campaigns. It was reported last year that Louis Vuitton paid Angelina Jolie millions to be the face of their “Core Values” campaign. Among other contracts, she is one busy woman! Now we learn that her fiance, Brad Pitt, is also getting into the beauty biz.

E! News reports that Brad has been named the face of Chanel No. 5, which is a woman’s perfume!

Yes, it’s a scent for a woman, but if ever there was a man pretty enough to render that particular point moot, it’s Brad Pitt.

Proving yet again that his musky appeal knows no bounds, E! News has exclusively learned that Angelina Jolie’s better half has signed on as the new face of Chanel’s signature No. 5 scent.

Reps for neither Pitt nor the perfume house have commented on the new partnership, but a source tells E! News that the actor will be shooting his firstperfume ad in London sometime this week (the superstar family has set up their most recent homestead in the UK).

And for his endorsement troubles, Pitt will be bringing home some serious bacon for the Jolie-Pitt clan, with his paycheck for the spot somewhere in the seven-figures. The Chanel No. 5 ad will be released overseas sometime later this year. Makes scents to us.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt found a new home for their brood, and plan on living in it for the next couple of years!

The two, who have an “affection” for the U.K., decided to start spending a lot of quality time there.  Pitt originally found the charming property and lived in  it when he filmed World War Z. The couple tried it out together and the rest, as they say, was history!

Still, Brad’s ex Jennifer Aniston was also looking in the same area for homes, which might get awkward!  We hope they live very far from each other. I mean, can you imagine? I’d be not too happy if I had to live next door to my ex…

The fam arrived around 8:30 am at the Baltra airport, and had a private tour guide with them to handle all the arrangements! Then, the crew was spotted on a local tour bus, en route to a ferry headed to the islands themselves.  Sounds like a relaxing vacation, but also one that’s pretty historically pertinent.  If you don’t remember,  the Galapagos Islands were famous for being the location of scientist Charles Darwin’s studies that led him to the theory evolution. Romantic, tropical AND educational!

Everyone’s talking about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s engagement, and now we’re getting more details about what happened when Brad got down on one knee.

Although it’s been reported that Brad actually proposed back in December, Angelina didn’t get her million dollar ring until just recently.

On a recent spring day, Brad Pitt gathered his six kids — Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 5, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 3 — as he presented love Angelina Jolie with a very special present: A tablet-shaped diamond engagement ring — estimated at 16 carats and worth $500,000 — which he helped design with jeweler Robert Procop.

“Angelina cried and smiled” at the proposal, a confidante tells the new Us Weekly, out now.

And the children, who had been extremely eager for their parents to wed after seven years together, were equally overjoyed, the source adds.

“Everyone hugged once she put [the ring] on. She went around and showed it to each of the kids.”

As the world now knows, Jolie, 36, quietly debuted that long-awaited ring at an April 11 private viewing at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, with startling photos and a confirmation from jeweler Procop and then Pitt’s manager emerging two days later.

“Angie considers herself bonded to Brad for life,” adds the source.
