File this under kind of arbitrary and weird…
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are taking a very special trip to Rome this month, not to sightsee but to hang out and have a jam sesh with…Pope Francis?
US Weekly Reports:
The A-listers will fly to Italy in early January “for a VIP meet-and-greet at the Vatican with Pope Francis,” the source says of the stars, who consider themselves nonreligious.
Pitt, 51, grew up Baptist but later distanced himself from his faith, telling The Hollywood Reporter in 2012, “I don’t have a great relationship with religion. I oscillate between agnosticism and atheism.”
That said, a friend tells Us that both the actor and his wife “admire the Pope” and “like the Pope’s message.”
True, Pope Francis has been famously tolerant and progressive. Maybe he wants Jolie and Pitt to sign a DVD copy of Mr. and Mrs. Smith?

Jennifer Aniston rarely talks about her highly publicized divorce from Brad Pitt in 2005…so when she does, I make sure to listen!
I sometimes barely recall that Jen and Brad were married close to five years (!!!) in what was considered the “ideal A list” celeb union. Of course, Angelina Jolie came on the scene when she filmed Mr. & Mrs. Smith with Brad in 2005 (yes, same year as the divorce), and now, Jen has a bit more to say about it, when she reflected on the watershed celebrity moment to CBS Sunday Morning:
“I don’t find it painful. I think it’s a narrative that follows you because it’s an interesting headline. It’s more of a media-driven topic.”
When asked whether she still keeps in touch with Pitt, 51, her reply is: “We’ve exchanged good wishes an all that sort of stuff to each other, but it’s not a constant thing.”

As for her current relationship with actor Justin Theroux…? That’s also mainly private.

Angelina Jolie is busy, but her marriage and family always come first.
In an exclusive interview with The Weekly, Angelina reveals intimate details of her married life with Brad Pitt, and emphasizes that “maintaining a marriage and raising kids can be hard work.” Absolutely, girl. What else you gotta say about that?
On her large family: “[Brad and I] work really hard at nurturing our family to make sure that everybody is alright and everyone stays connected,” says Angelina. “Maintaining a marriage and raising kids is hard work. You have to really make sure that your work doesn’t get in the way. That you don’t do something that is going to put too much strain on your family.”
On her marriage: Angelina tells The Weekly she is “very happy to be married” and enjoys the sensation of saying “my husband”.
On her six kids: “They’re six of the funniest people we have ever met in our lives. We love being home and we love being around them because they are just so entertaining,”
Check out more from the interview here.

Let it be known: even BRAD PITT gets called in for jury duty!
MailOnline reports that Pitt (who turns 51 today) showed up at the downtown LA courthouse last Friday to do his civic duty…but after waiting hours for his turn in the jury box, the dismissed him, saying he’d be too much of a distraction!
Although it probably would have been hella difficult for Brad to actually serve on a jury, he actually thought it would be interesting, a Pitt insider tells MailOnline. According to LA attorney William R. Lively, however, he shouldn’t hold his breath!
“Like any other potential juror, Brad would have received a jury summons that required him to travel downtown and be interviewed by the judge or attorneys in what is called voir dire,” Lively tells MailOnline exclusively. ‘This is a system of examination whereby both the prosecution and defense have the opportunity to object to a particular juror. In most cases as soon as it’s discovered that a potential juror is a major celebrity, that person is dismissed, but that is not always the case.”
(Via DailyMail online)
Pitt was called for jury duty back in 2003. It is not known if he actually served on a jury, but he wasn’t sent home. In fact, he wore a juror badge and had a Subway sandwich for lunch just like the rest of the normal jurors!
