Brad Pitt praises Angelina Jolie's bravery during health battle

Brad Pitt has nothing but love for his wife Angelina Jolie and in promoting their new movie “By The Sea”, he also praised her bravery during her recent health battle. The couple sat down to discuss the new movie along with her decision to undergo a double mastectomy along with having her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed.

Brad said, “I just remember there was no vanity to my wife’s approach. It was mature. [There] was an excitement to where this is our life, we’re gonna make the best of it. There was a strength in that. It’s just another one of those things in life that makes you tighter. She was doing it for her kids, and she was doing it for her family, so we can be together. It trumped everything, everything and anything.”

Angelina said that Brad’s support was the best thing about her unfortunate situation. She revealed, “He made it very, very clear to me that what he loved and what was a woman to him was somebody who was smart and capable and cared about her family. It’s not about your physical body. I knew through the surgeries that he was on my side and that that wasn’t somewhere where I was going to feel like less of a woman, because my husband wasn’t going to let that happen.”

Angelina used the same doctor as her late mother Marcheline Bertrand and revealed that her mother made the doctor promise to take out Angelina’s ovaries to avoid cancer.

Brad Pitt covers ‘V’ Magazine; Talks ‘By The Sea’ and Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt covers 'V' Magazine; Talks 'By The Sea' and Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt is featured on the cover of the winter 2015-2016 issue of “V” magazine. Inside of this issue, he talks about filming with his wife Angelina Jolie for her movie “By The Sea”, along with her script and their history together.

With regard to filming “By The Sea” right after their wedding took place, he said, “It was probably not the wisest way to spend a honeymoon. But then again, fighting to make something together…what better metaphor for marriage? It’s not a film that responds to the current zeitgeist or mode of storytelling…rather a quiet, mature look at the challenges of love and loss.”

He went on to say, “Mr. & Mrs. Smith this is not. ‘By The Sea’ deals with that period when the honeymoon is well over and the couple is faced with the banality of every day and the pains of the unplanned. There are no Hallmark cards that define the next chapter, or the value of a history together. So who are you?”

When speaking of Angie’s script, he said, “Naturally I didn’t want to fail Angie’s ideas, her words, but really I had absolute faith we’d figure it out.”

On their history, he said, “For this one I operated on pure instinct. Angie and I have too much history and understanding of each other to question beyond there. At the end of the day, we get to be parents, greeting our lovely, crazy children and talking about their day, making sure they brush their teeth.”

On playing a drunk for the flick, he said, “I play a good drunk because I’ve been a good drunk.”

Angelina Jolie admits she and Brad Pitt have issues in ‘Vogue’

Angelina Jolie admits she and Brad Pitt have issues in 'Vogue'

Angelina Jolie is featured on the cover of the latest issue of “Vogue” magazine and inside she talks about how she and husband Brad Pitt have their issues.

She and Pitt filmed their new movie “By The Sea” following their August 2014 wedding and despite it being about a couple whose marriage is on the rocks, she says that it’s not about her and her husband. She revealed, “It’s not autobiographical. Brad and I have our issues. But if the characters were even remotely close to our problems we couldn’t have made the film. As artists we wanted something that took us out of our comfort zones just being raw actors. It’s not the safest idea. But life is short.”

Angelina also talked about menopause and how she is excited to turn fifty-years-old and having a mastectomy. She said, “I wish my mom had been able to make those choices. They are not easy surgeries. The ovaries are an easy surgery, but the hormone changes – interesting. We just joke that I had my Monday edit. Tuesday surgery. Wednesday go into menopause. Thursday come back to edit, a little funky with my steps.”

Her mother Marcheline Bertrand passed away in 2007 after battling breast and ovarian cancer for almost eight years. She said, “I feel grounded as a woman. I know others do too. Both of the women in my family, my mother and my grandmother started dying in their ’40s. I’m 40. I can’t wait to hit 50 and know I made it.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt ADDING to their brood?

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt ADDING to their brood?

According to a new report, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are looking to adopt an orphan from Syrian, bringing their count of children to seven.

A source said, “On one solo trip, Angelina met three Syrian orphan siblings. They were all brothers. The middle child could speak some English.”

She was said to be heartbroken to learn that their father was taken away by Syrian soldiers and that they lost their mother when their house was bombed.

The source said, “The oldest of the three was very quiet but never left Angie’s side during the visit. Angie wanted to adopt all three, but when she got back to the United States, and told Brad about it, he said no. Going from six children to nine was just way too much, and Brad was concerned about how it would impact their other kids. But Angie didn’t put up a fight. She knew it just wouldn’t work.”

The source added, “It’s been a very long process to adopt the Syrian orphan. The red tape has been almost impossible at times. It could take at least another four to five months before the child is brought back to the United States.”

This very well could be true, but I just don’t think Brad nor Angelina would feel right adopting only one of the brothers. What do you think?
