Oooooof course she did! For all you Gwyneth haters out there – here’s another story to add to your list! Gwyneth showered her BFF Beyonce with a lavish gift after she gave birth to her baby girl, Blue Ivy™.

What kind of stroller did Beyonce get from pal Gwyneth Paltrow? A Bugaboo, naturally!

Paltrow was among the very first to tweet about the birth of her BFF Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy in early January — and the actress, 38, knew just what to gift the chanteuse and her bundle of joy.

Paltrow treated Beyonce and husband Jay-Z to an all-black Cameleon stroller by Bugaboo; the posh baby-transporter retails for $880. (As it happens, Beyonce, 30, scored one of many smash singles with Destiny’s Child in 1999 with the song “Bugaboo,” about a male suitor who just doesn’t know when to give up.)

Before Blue Ivy’s birth, Beyonce (who made her first post-baby appearance Monday and Tuesday in NYC) snapped up a $3500 NurseryWorks VETRO Lucite crib in NYC for her little one, born at 7 lbs Jan. 7 at Lenox Hill Hospital.

Blue’s crib and Bugaboo will fit right in with her extravagant nursery — a 2,200 square-foot space recently built in the superstar family’s Tribeca apartment.

I do find it interesting that Gwyneth bought Beyonce a stroller. Do you actually SEE Beyonce pushing her baby in a stroller? Won’t she just hire someone to carry her baby everywhere? C’mon, you know you’re with me.

Just when you think you’ve seen and heard it all, this comes along!

According to the Washington Post, Jay-Z and Beyonce have filed paperwork with the U.S. Patent and Trademark office seeking to protect the name of their new baby girl.

The couple filed for the trademark on January 26, just a couple weeks after Blue Ivy’s™ birth. They are “reserving the moniker not for posterity, but for products — speculation has already begun that the power couple’s motivation was business-related and that they may have a line of baby accoutrements in the offing.”

At first I was thinking they are batsh*t crazy, but I guess not. “One fashion designer, Joseph Mbeh, submitted an application of his own to trademark “Blue Ivy Carter NYC” on Jan. 11 — just four forward-thinking days after the birth — while another filed to reserve “Blue Ivy Carter Glory IV” on Jan. 20 to use on a perfume line.” Both requests were denied.

A source close to Beyonce and hubby, Jay-Z has revealed she was ecstatic when she found out she was going to have a girl, “Beyonce is thrilled she’s having a daughter. She and her mother are so close, and she’s wanted to have that relationship with her own child.”

Beyonce has been keeping busy shopping for baby clothes and has no qualms about first-time motherhood. “It’s going really well, I am so happy with everything right now. I am not nervous because I know it’s happening at the right time,” says the Grammy Award winner. “I felt I got married at the right time, and now we are having the baby at the right time. I feel like we didn’t rush anything, and now we are being blessed with everything naturally.”

Their bundle of joy is due in February 2012.

Is Beyoncé expecting a baby girl?

According to In Touch, the singer and hubby Jay-Z are expecting a little girl! “Beyonce is thrilled she’s having a daughter,” their source says. “She and her mother are so close, and she’s wanted to have that relationship with her own child.”

And though she and Jay-Z, 41, are like a second set of parents to their nephew Daniel, Beyoncé is a girlie girl at heart and longs to share her passion for sparkly outfits with a Mini-Me. Indeed, the singer — who adores the clothes her mom, Tina Knowles, designs for her — has been so eager to play dress-up with her baby that she’s already been breaking the bank at stores ranging from Gucci and Louis Vuitton to Gap and OshKosh B’gosh. “Her family’s afraid there won’t be anything left to buy for her baby shower in December!” the friend laughs.

It’s been ages – ages I tell you! – since Gwyneth Paltrow was seen out with her husband Chris Martin! Yet, here they are, even if they weren’t photographed together!

Gwyneth missed the NYC premiere of her new movie, ‘Contagion’ in order to attend an event for Coach in London. And she took her husband as her date! Gwyneth is the new face of Coach, so she was probably obligated to go.

What do you think of her orange Lanvin dress?

During a recent interview with E! Online, Gwyneth opened up about appearing on ‘Glee’ again – and what she considers the “biggest blessing of all time.”

Seeing how Gwyneth Paltrow has made such a splash with her unforgettable appearances on Glee, it only makes sense that fans would want to see her return. That is, of course, she doesn’t even think about trying to hook up with Matthew Morrison.

So, what does the Oscar winner have to say about another possible encore performance?

“I would love to go back on,” Paltrow tells E! News. “You know, I’m not sure if I will or not, but we’ll see. It would be hard for me to say no. I have such a good time doing that show. So, we’ll see if they ask me back or not.”

Until then, the actress is keeping busy promoting her latest film, Contagion. The thriller, centering on the worldwide outbreak of a deadly virus, reunited the actress with her Talented Mr. Ripley costars Jude Law and Matt Damon, who plays her husband in the flick.

“It was so great to work with him again,” she says. “We’re different in a lot of ways with all our kids and so we talked a lot about our kids and showed pictures.”

Speaking of rugrats, Paltrow is so “happy” that her good friend Jay-Z and his wife Beyoncé are expecting and admits that becoming a parent really puts everything in perspective.

“It’s wonderful to see her so happy right now,” Gwyneth tells E! “And so looking forward to the experience. I’m very happy for them.”

“I think motherhood is the biggest blessing of all time and it give your life real meaning,” she points out. “It’s always interesting when you’re a woman with success and you’ve achieved a lot, and then you have a baby and you realize everything you thought was an achievement really is nothing until you have a kid, and I think that will be [Beyoncé's] experience.”

Any advice for pal Jay-Z?

“I’d tell him directly,” says Paltrow, adding with a laugh: “But I wouldn’t say it on television.” (E!Online)

Beyonce took the stage at the Glastonbury Music Festival over the weekend, and her performance has many saying it was her best show ever!

The R&B star, the first female headliner in the history of the festival, brought down the house Sunday night, wowing a screaming audience of 170,000+ fans. The bright lights of what is considered by some to be the biggest music festival in the world were no match for the singer, as she ran through some of her biggest hits, opening with “Crazy Like That” before moving on to songs like “Single Ladies,” “Irreplaceable,” and a medley of Destiny’s Child favorites, including “Survivor” and “Say My Name.”

She also sang her new single, “1+1,” as well as “At Last,” the song she sang during President Obama’s inauguration in 2009. That performance came with a special civil rights-themed video montage — which included video of that very inauguration. See her complete setlist here.

Her husband, Jay-Z, watched from the side of the stage alongside Gwyneth Paltrow, whose husband Chris Martin performed earlier with his band Coldplay. Jay-Z, in 2008, was the first hip hop act to play the festival.

I tried to find video of her performance, but the one’s that I’ve found have already been removed. But I’m still trying! Once I find it – I’ll post it!
