‘Planes: Fire & Rescue,’ the animated sequel to Planes, premiered at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood last night. The stars were out for the show, and many brought their children to the premiere with them. Dane Cook (seen above with Hal Holbrook) voices Dusty Crophopper in both films, and he explains to The Hollywood Reporter how excited he was to have this role:
“Getting a phone call from John Lasseter was like, in in my 24 years of performing, just like getting Willy Wonka to call you and say, ‘Come into the factory.’ This is going to be unlike anything you’ve ever done before. It was like a dream come true,” Cook told The Hollywood Reporter on the red carpet. “To get a second call from John Lasseter, saying, ‘We’d like to do it again,’ was outstanding.”
Cook also noted the movie carries an important message. “We are celebrating the brave men and women that fight fires day in and day out, with a really heartwarming story to it,” he added.
Disney blocked off the street for the kid-friendly event, which featured several fire and rescue vehicles supplied by the Planes of Fame Air Museum, while the L.A. Fire Department provided coats, pants, helmets, boots and other firefighting equipment that kids could try on.
What a fun premiere to be able to take your kids to! Many more pics from the premiere after the jump! (more…)

Actress Ali Landry and Mario Lopez were married for a hot minute way back in 2004 – two weeks to be exact. Mario fessed up to the cheating in an interview last year and today Ali shared a bit from her side on the Wendy Williams Show. She not only addresses his cheating, but says he’s full of crap with his claims that they’re friends now.
“I had heard something right before the wedding and he swore that it was not true, nothing was true. But I had that feeling in my gut. And, you know, all my family (members) were flying away, it was like a destination wedding, it was like a big trip for them. I really should have put the brakes on it at that point. I was afraid.”
The former Miss Usa finally took matters into her own hands in an effort to uncover the truth about her husband.
She added, “One of my girlfriends said, ‘If you really want to know, I know how to tap a phone…’ So she did it. And right after the honeymoon I started getting these phone calls from these girls. I confronted him (Lopez) and he denied it. He never apologised.”
But Landry, who is now married to film director Alejandro Monteverde, has made it clear she has no interest in making nice with the man who broke her heart.
She insists that a recent statement from Lopez, in which he claimed he has remained friends with all his exes, is “a lie!”
I would expect Mario to respond in some way – he seems love to grab publicity when he can. Do you think these two should just let it go already and be done with it?

The beautiful Ali Landry has some exciting news! Her second baby is on the way!
“I found out on Valentine’s Day and told my husband and daughter together — they were both so excited!” Ali, who is 3½ months pregnant, tells Life & Style exclusively.
The 37-year-old model and actress can’t wait to give daughter Estela, 3, a sibling and says she and her film director husband, Alejandro Monteverde, are over the moon. “I love being pregnant,” says Ali. “Being a mom is just the best thing in the entire world.”
The 1996 Miss USA winner, who rose to fame as the first spokeswoman for Doritos when her commercial debuted during the 1998 Super Bowl, wed Alejandro in 2006. She currently hosts Yahoo! Web series Spotlight to Nightlight and has her children’s clothing line, Belle Parish.
