Kristin Davis is raising money for charity by auctioning off two VIP tickets to the Sex and the City movie premiere in New York City.

Davis, who returns as Charlotte York in the upcoming TV series spin-off film, is offering a pair of tickets to May’s premiere in an online sale on auction website eBay.

The winning bidder and a friend will have their hair and make-up professionally styled, receive a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes and accompany Davis down the red carpet at the screening.

All funds raised from the sale will go to charity Oxfam. Davis says, “Oxfam’s mission is to alleviate poverty and injustice by helping people learn skills and create lives. I just got back from Africa and saw firsthand that we’re making a long-term difference. It gives me a sense of satisfaction.”

Davis has become the latest in a long line of celebrities auctioning off movie premiere `dates’ for Oxfam - Colin Firth offered one last month and Scarlett Johansson is selling off the chance to accompany her to a film premiere in 2009 on eBay right now.

Top U.S. comedian Larry The Cable Guy has become the unlikely face of weightloss company NutriSystem.

The star, real name Dan Whitney, has lost 50 pounds using the NutriSystem program, and he is so pleased with the results he’s decided to help promote the firm in a series of print and TV advertisements.

In a post on his website, the comic jokes, “Now I look just like Brad Pitt, only totally different.” The U.S. ads will be made public later this month.

Marilyn Monroe-obsessed Mariah Carey recently received a special gift from funnyman Adam Sandler, a replica of the movie icon’s ‘leaning board’.

Sandler heard the pop superstar, who owns Monroe’s piano, was looking for a film prop similar to the one her heroine used for costume changes on movie sets - and realized he had one.

The comedian gave Carey the board as a thank-you to her for appearing in his new film You Don’t Mess With The Zohan.

Carey says, “When actresses of the day had to be sewn into costumes they had to use a leaning board. “Adam had one from an old movie and I really liked it, so he had another one made in pink and sent to me.”

Charlie Sheen has joined the ranks of Hollywood’s hunks who have signed on to help sell Hanes underwear.
Kevin Bacon, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Jennifer Love Hewitt have all appeared in recent TV and print ads for the U.S. firm. Like Bacon and Oscar winner Gooding Jr., Sheen, 42, will team up with sports great Michael Jordan for an underwear commercial.

I have to admit that the Cuba Gooding Jr. ads are cute, but can you imagine Charlie Sheen doing them?
