Lindsay Lohan’s grandmother Marilyn has been hospitalized in New York after she was involved in a car accident.

Marilyn, mother of the star’s father Michael, reportedly lost control of her Nissan after swerving to avoid an oncoming vehicle and crashed into a pole and tree in Woodbury, New York, on Sunday evening, according to TMZ.com.

Lohan’s grandmother was admitted to the Nassau University Medical Center where she was treated for unspecified injuries. She was released later that night. Marilyn Lohan is currently supporting her husband Richard, 73, who is battling colon cancer in the intensive care unit of another New York hospital.

She says, “I am fed up with Los Angeles. It’s dirty and full of crazy people. I want a complete lifestyle change. People criticise Britain but it is still a cleaner, safer place to live than Hollywood.” “I don’t want to live in the city. I love the greenery and the freshness of the countryside. It is just a healthier place for me to be. I’ve been house-hunting seriously and I’ll know as soon as I find the perfect place.”

Love was recently spotted looking at properties around the $10 million range in the plush area of Sunningdale in Berkshire, south-east England, an area that is often referred to as the Royal County of Berkshire because of royal residence Windsor Castle’s location in the county. And rock royalty Love could soon meet true royalty – Britain’s Prince Andrew also owns a mansion in Sunningdale.

Heather Mills’ sex life is to be laid bare in a shocking new TV documentary. Sir Paul McCartney’s estranged wife is the subject of the forthcoming MCCartney v MCCartney: The Ex-Files, a show which will delve deep into the former glamor model’s life before her marriage to the Beatles legend.

Former lovers and ex-boyfriends of Mills were approached to feature on the tell-all documentary, in what executive producer Steve Anderson calls “the program Sir Paul should have seen before he decided to get married”.
