Does a yeast infection count?  According to TMZ:

Paris Hilton has been fitted for ankle bracelet and reassigned to house arrest, after authorities determined to release Hilton from prison due to medical reasons, this according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept. spokesperson Steve Whitmore.

Whitmore says he cannot release details about Paris’ medical issue due to confidentiality reasons.

Magician Criss Angel has been using some verbal sleight of hand when talking about whether Cameron Diaz is his girlfriend.

After a New York City stunt on Monday in which he escaped from a concrete block suspended over Times Square, Angel, 39, told the crowd, “I’d like to dedicate this to my girl Trouble, a.k.a Cameron. I love you, baby.”

But back in Las Vegas Tuesday at a viewing party for the third season premiere of his show Mindfreak, Angel told PEOPLE: “I just said that because everyone was hounding me about it and at the end of the day I got it out there, so my professional life is there, my personal life is here.”

So is the romance real or an illusion?

“She’s an amazing person,” Angel says, “and I wish her the best with her Shrek tour right now, and I’m not going to discuss Cameron anymore.” (Diaz, 34, did not join Angel at the viewing party – she is in Europe promoting Shrek the Third.)

The two met last month in Las Vegas at the VH1 Rock Honors show and were later seen catching a Cirque du Soleil show. And on May 18, Diaz jetted to Vegas for a romantic rendezvous that included snuggling through dinner at Social House, then slow dancing at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Body English.

Is Paris Hilton is out of jail?

TMZ.com, citing unnamed sources, reports that Hilton was released early Thursday morning after serving just three days.

A news conference is due to begin shortly, the Web site reports.

Hilton, 26, began her sentence Sunday night at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, south of Los Angeles.

The heiress was sentenced to 45 days in jail for violating her probation by driving with a suspended license.

Amid speculation that she would actually serve much less time due to prison overcrowding, police said she would spend at least 23 days behind bars.

Since it’s my birthday…my sister picked me up and treated me to lunch & a movie.  It was really nice to be whisked away - and pampered like that!  I went and saw “Knocked Up” and holy cow that movie was freaking funny! Have any of you guys seen it? Hilarious! Anyway, I’m going to try and get some more posting done…
