Britney Spears looks tired, most likely because she’s hard at work recording her new album!

Photographers caught a glimpse of Miss Spears exiting an LA studio today in sweatpants and a long sweater. She’s been in high gear working on her new album, which I’m definitely curious to hear.  Again, I’m glad Britney is putting her nose to the grindstone, but sweatpants? Have we all given up, or is it kinda endearing? THOUGHTS?

Madonna seemed to have gone MEAN GIRL on Gwyneth Paltrow at this year’s Met Gala, which may be why Gwyneth was throwing serious shade at the famous fashion fundraiser!

It’s no secret that the two were pretty tight years ago, but then had some strange falling out and now barely talk.  So now, Madonna (apparently!) goes out of her way to be a little snarky to Goopy when they’re in a public context! Says US Weekly Print edition via Celebitchy:

The Material Girl is a Mean Girl! An insider tells Hot Stuff that Madonna went out of her way to make ex-friend Gwyneth Paltrow miserable at the May 6 Met Gala in NYC. Madonna gave Gwyneth the cold shoulder, then buddied up to tablemate – and current Paltrow pal – Beyonce.

“She chatted with Beyonce for most of the evening and didn’t even glance at Gwyneth,” says the source. “Everyone talked about it.”

The feud stems back to 2009, when Paltrow got fed up with the rude treatment from her onetime BFF.

“Madonna would sh-t on her, over and over,” says a Paltrow source. Years after Gwyneth dropped her, Madge is still hurt by the snub, says another insider: “She fels Gwyneth abandoned her. Now Madonna will do anything to make her suffer.”

And apparently she did. Days after the fashion bash, Paltrow told interviewers she would never attend again.

“It was so un-fun, I did not enjoy it at all.”

Wow, I can totally see Madonna being rude, but I can NOT picture Paltrow being a victim. She just seems so…rude (or oblivious) herself, at times. What do you think…did Madonna seriously snub Paltrow, or does this whole story reek of tabloid exaggeration?

Not even a performance by diva Jennifer Lopez and a shocking finale win can bring back viewership for the ‘ol American Idol, it seems!

Last night’s show had the lowest ratings the program has seen in the history of its finales (and yes, they’ve had 12 of them). In fact, it was down a whopping 47% in preliminary ratings from last year’s finale.

So, half the people decided they had better things to watch. And not overall, JUST from last season’s finale! Yikes.

This is not a good sign for the benchmark reality show, and it kinda goes to show that these programs really do have a shelf life, despite being at one time SUPER popular.  The producers will have to do something really awe-inspiring for next season if they want the show to last!

Ariel Winter has had a more…tumultuous year then most, but she’s still thankful for the support system she finally has in place!

This support system includes her guardian, Shanelle Gray, who is court-appointed to care for the Modern Family star.

“My sister is the most amazing woman I’ve ever met in my life,” Winter, 15, told People at the USA Network 2013 Upfronts in New York. “If I could be half the woman she is … she’s kind of who I want to be like.”

The teen star doesn’t just reserve admiration for her older sister, 34.  She also digs her extended family, specifically Shanelle’s husband.

“[Shanelle] supports me in everything I do, and so does my brother-in-law David,” Winter said. “Both are kind of like my biggest supporters.”

Sounds like Ariel’s life is calming down a little…thank goodness!

With Lindsay Lohan FINALLY in a great rehab facility and completely clean, of COURSE Michael Lohan wants to put in his two cents.

According to Michael, he’s made it his mission to get his daughter out of Lindsay’s 90 day Betty Ford Clinic visit and into the Lukens Institute as soon as possible. Why, you might ask?

Michael explains:

“I am going to go to California and I want to meet with Lindsay’s attorney Shawn and the City Attorney to talk about her transferring to the Lukens Institute. It is ridiculous for Lindsay to spend 90 days at Betty Ford. They are a 30-day program place. There is no reason for her to repeat the same program for three months. I know that Lukens is the best place for Lindsay in the whole country. She’s been to Betty Ford and it isn’t going to help her this time. She needs real help and the only place she can get this is at Lukens.”

The court has already said they will NEVER let Lindsay transfer, and we’re PRETTY SURE The Betty Ford Clinic can handle the likes of Lindsay. So stop meddling, Michael! Geez.

When she’s not sucking the face of her 21 year old boyfriend, Paris Hilton is tearing up to the latest Sofia Coppola flick!

Why? Well, it’s kind of about her….and some other celebs…and parts are even filmed at her house!  The film centers around a group of California teenagers who robbed from Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Orlando Bloom and other celebs from 2008 through 2009, and Paris offered up her own private home as a set for some of the scenes in the film.

Huffington Post Reports:

“Sofia came to my birthday party last year,” Hilton told Huffpo. “She loved my house and said it couldn’t be re-created in a set.”

Despite being a small part of the production process, Hilton hadn’t seen a cut of the movie until it debuted on Thursday at Cannes.  And I guess she was REALLY invested in it, for whatever reason…

“I was really emotional watching it,” Hilton told Vulture writer Kyle Buchanan at a swank Cannes after-party for “The Bling Ring” on Thursday night. “During some parts of it, I literally had tears in my eyes and I wanted to cry.”

Two thumbs up, I guess? And, she’s not alone- lots of critics are saying this movie is rad, and these people are a tad more trustworthy than Miss Hilton. Check out a trailer HERE!
