Teenage actress Vanessa Hudgens has denied reports she has been dropped from the upcoming cinema sequel to TV smash High School Musical because of her recent nude photo scandal.

The 18-year-old recently admitted posing for naked camera phone shots that she meant only for the eyes of boyfriend Zac Efron - but the saucy snaps fell into a third party’s hands and were plastered all over the internet.

However, Hudgens insists the controversy will not affect her role in the Disney follow-up. Her spokesperson says, “It’s an old rumor.”

Oh, and by the way…she’s still with Zac. Here they are at last night’s Frederick’s of Hollywood Party.

After a tumultuous couple of months for Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron, which saw them going through a brief breakup after nude pics of ‘Nessa hit the net, OK! can report that it’s finally over for the High School Musical sweethearts. But this time, it’s Vanessa that’s kicked Zac to the curb — and right before his birthday!

A source close to the dreamy-eyed hunk reveals exclusively to OK! that the deed went down late Wednesday evening, only hours before he was to turn 20. Now, just out of his teens, he’s going around telling friends it’s “officially over.”

One friend tells OK! that Zac is worried Vanessa might have already found a new piece of man candy — though there are no real signs of this being true.

Vanessa’s rep is denying the news. However, no word yet from Zac’s camp on the split, which is interesting when you consider the fact that both stars are represented by the same firm.

Zac Efron and nude picture taker, Vanessa, may have broken up! According to E! Online, Zac broke Vanessa’s heart about a week ago. I know, this is devestating news for some, but according to insiders, they bet this is not the last time that these two break up and get back together. Look for them together in about a week and another break up in a week after that. FUN! I don’t know about you, but that relationship sure seems healthy to me!

I couldn’t care LESS.  Only reason I’m mentioning it, is because I saw the funniest thing this morning.  After dropping my son off at school - I headed down the street to get coffee. There is a 7-11 on the corner, and when I got closer I saw this long line of teenage boys wrapped around the 7-11.  I couldn’t figure it out for the life of me!  After I got my coffee, and was returning home, I saw this grunging teenager walking out of 7-11 with a Big Gulp and reading the inside of Halo 3. It was like 7:45am in the morning! Oh yeah baby - today is Christmas for teenage boys.

Spotted lunching a déux at Aroma Cappuccino Café in Studio City, the delicious duo kept to themselves with cordial hellos when paparazzi approached.

Rumor has it that Zac has already signed on for HSN3 … this handsome young man is on his way to the top! Will it be Adrienne Bailon (Cheetah Girls, photo below) as his new leading lady, replacing Hudgens after her nude photo scandal?

Either way, their offscreen love looks like it’s going strong. Nice to see young love getting through tough times. I adore this couple!

Actress Vanessa Hudgens, who was caught in a nude-photo scandal earlier this month, might pose nude for a men’s magazine.

The High School Musical star, who recently apologized to fans for the scandal, revealed that being a woman with a sexy outlook is an asset, and insisted that she wouldn’t mind posing in the buff again.

“I think being a woman and being able to show a sexy side is empowering,” the Sun quoted Hudgens, as saying.

“Being able to show we are comfortable in our skin is a good thing. I totally would pose for a sexy magazine. But not Playboy,” she added.

Francis, who is presently in prison for fraud, said that Hudgens is perfect to be a part of Girls Gone Wild.

“Vanessa is the classic girl next door gone wild. Being sexual is not a crime,” Francis said.

I’m thinking going into business with some dude in jail for fraud is probably not the best idea for a pretty girl with a rising career. But what do I know about Hollywood.

The Hairspray heartthrob, 19, has been spotted wearing a silver ring on his left hand and was recently quoted saying, “Exchanging rings is far easier than getting tattoos.” While Efron is happy to talk about his on-screen chemistry with Hudgens and describes her as a “very sexy woman,” he refuses to divulge any more details of their one-year relationship. He says, “I’m not even going to say who it’s from. This is just a ring from a friend that I got. ‘Commitment’ is way too weird a word for me right now. I’m wearing it for a friend. It is a female friend, but I can’t say who, because then it would be chat-room pandemonium and teenage magazine-hysteria.”

On why he refused to go on the High School Musical tour:
“If I had to hear the High School Musical songs anymore, I probably would have jumped off something very tall.”

On not being allowed to sing in High School Musical:
“I didn’t even sing on the first album. It wasn’t my voice in the movie. Even though I wanted to do it. So what do you do when the entire cast is supposed to accept an award at the Billboard Awards and your voice is only on the album in a select few lines. I felt extremely guilty.”

On fame:
A lot of problems you se people having in this business is that it becomes about their personal lives and not about their work. Matthew McConaughey has single-handedly funded the tabloid magazines for the past two years now.
