Superstar Will Smith has never found a school he likes for his kids so now he’s starting his own.
Cost? More than $1 million!
The box office titan signed a deal to lease a campus near his California home.
Renamed the New Village Academy of Calabasas, the academy will be run privately including kindergarten through sixth grade.
The new Smith school -whose motto is Spiral Up! – requires special testing for admission and will be open “to all races, religions and creeds”, according to a spokesperson.
Previously, Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, were homeschooling their two children at the Smith family compound.

Will Smith has bottled up a new movie project after optioning the film rights to wine saga The Billionaire’s Vinegar: The Mystery of the World’s Most Expensive Bottle of Wine.
Bosses at the movie star’s production company were won over by Benjamin Wallace’s chronicle of the auction house fight for a 1787 bottle of Chateau Lafite, which was rumored to have belonged to U.S. President Thomas Jefferson.
Wallace claimed that Jefferson was duped into thinking the wine was a rare vintage and as such the son of billionaire publisher Malcolm Forbes bought doctored cheap wine for $156,000 – the world record for a single bottle.

Just because you’re friends with Tom Cruise, doesn’t mean you’re a Scientologist.
So says Will Smith, who’s denying recent reports – including Radar magazine’s April cover story – which claim he’s been increasingly involved with the controversial religion.
“You don’t have to be Jewish to be a friend of Steven Spielberg. You don’t have to be a Muslim to be a friend of Muhammad Ali. And you don’t have to be a Scientologist to be a friend of Tom Cruise,” the actor told the New York Daily News Tuesday.
“I am a Christian,” the 39-year-old added. “I am a student of all religions. And I respect all people and all paths.”
