Singer Whitney Houston was found dead in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday morning.  Paramedics were already at the hotel and got to her in record time, but weren’t able to revive her. According to TMZ, Whitney was found in her bathtub and some were speculating that she drowned.  However, the family was reportedly told that the cause of death was prescription drugs, not drowning.  The toxicology reports are pending.

Whitney is survived by one child – daughter Bobbi Kristina with ex-husband Bobby Brown.  Bobbi Kristina has been admitted to Cedars-Sinai Hospital after suffering a “complete breakdown” over her mother’s death.

According to the National Enquirer, doctors informed the singer that she is suffering from early stages of the lung disease, an obvious culprit to Houston’s poorly received vocal performances, as of late.

“She’s developed emphysema — and her doctors are warning her she’ll die a horrible death,” a friend of the singer told the Enquirer.

Prince has had enough of Whitney Houston and her erratic behavior, constant ticket demands and crazy antics.

According to TMZ, Prince has banned Whitney from his future shows.

Whitney attended several Prince concerts in the last few weeks and appeared to be “intoxicated” at each show — though our sources never saw Whitney drink alcohol or take drugs.

We’re told Whitney was constantly badgering Prince’s staff to let her up on the stage … but Team Prince shot her down every time because P’s people “didn’t want her to embarrass herself.”

Our sources say Whitney’s erratic behavior, coupled with repeated and excessive ticket demands became too much for Prince — and his team ultimately banned Houston from his concerts.

As TMZ first reported, Houston is receiving treatment in an out-patient rehab program for ongoing drug and alcohol problems.

Calls to Houston’s people have not been returned.

Hopefully Whitney is getting some help. It’s just so stinking sad! Such a waste of a God-given talent.

Man, this news makes me so sad. After watching Whitney Houston’s very candid interview with Oprah here a year ago or so, I thought maybe this time Whitney would stay clean. So sad what has become of her life, her career and even her daughter, who seems to be battling the same demons.

According to TMZ, Whitney Houston’s rep has admitted that the singer is receiving treatment in an out-patient rehab program for drugs and alcohol as part of a “long-standing” recovery process.

TMZ broke the story … Houston voluntarily enrolled in the program around 10 days ago.

Houston has admitted her problems with substance abuse in the past … but TMZ has learned the demons have resurfaced.

A music industry source who was with Whitney two weeks ago tells us, “She was plastered and she was a mess.”

Whitney Houston is so worried about her 18-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina she’s stepping in to take control.

Whitney is no stranger to addiction problems, having struggled with cocaine addiction herself. Maybe this is why she’s taking action with her daughter!

According to the National Enquirer, in an attempt to save her adolescent daughter from repeating her own mistakes, the 47-year-old mama has reportedly canceled Bobbi Kristina’s 18th birthday celebration at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas, is taking back the Lexus she gifted her daughter and is sending her straight to rehab.

Bobbi Kristina attempted to debunk the cocaine photos on Twitter recently, and now she’s back to shoot down rehab rumors, tweeting, “Excuse me, but I’d like to say that I am NOT going to rehab? I’m perfectly healthy and I am not addicted to anything but life.”

Houston credits her own mother, Cissy Houston, with saving her from her addiction to crack cocaine. Houston told Oprah in 2009 that her mother forced her to rehab after getting a court injunction that allowed her to stage an intervention with armed police at Houston’s door in 2004.

Bobbi Kristina’s father — R&B bad boy and Houston’s ex-husband, Bobby Brown — has a drug history of his own, and his daughter seems to be following in both her parents’ hard-partying footsteps. This isn’t the first news of the famous offspring’s teen troubles. Rumors have also recently surfaced of a Bobbi Kristina sex tape.

Is Bobbi Kristina really in a tough spot, or does the National Enquirer just have it out for Houston’s daughter? In 2008, the Enquirer reported that a then-15 Bobbi Kristina “tried to stab her mom during an argument — and then attempted to kill herself by slashing her wrists.”

Really? Really Bobby, really?

Singer Bobby Brown refuses to believe his teenage daughter is struggling with substance abuse issues. He swears his 18-year-old daughter “doesn’t do drugs”.

Bobbi Kristina, whose mother is Whitney Houston, found herself at the center of a drug scandal last week when the National Enquirer obtained damning shots of a youngster alleged to be the teenager apparently taking cocaine at two different parties.

Kristina has since taken to her Twitter.com page to slam the reports, blaming an ex-boyfriend for setting her up to make it look as though she’s indulging in drugs.

She wrote, “A former very dear person to me did this. Set me up to make it look exactly what it looks like… But it’s really not what it looks like. People will do anything for money which is extremely sad, and I’m very hurt by this.”

What I find amazing is that Bobby Brown refuses to believe it. He and ex-wife Whitney famously struggled with drug addiction for YEARS, and it happened right in front of their daughter, Bobbi. Of course Bobbi is going to have issues!

Bobby tells ABC News, “I don’t know anything about that… I don’t know anything. My daughter doesn’t do that.”

My question is… How exactly was she set up? Why would she pretend to snort cocaine? Doesn’t add up, if you ask me. Looks like she’s snorting cocaine.
