Bobby Brown’s son Landon has revealed his former stepmother, Whitney Houston, treated him like an employee when he went to stay with the former couple.
Landon Brown says Houston was a “nightmare” to grow up with, refusing to accept him as a member of her family.
He tells the National Enquirer that his former stepmom insisted he slept in a guest house when he came to stay - and refused to let him spend time with her daughter - his half-sister - Bobbi Kristina.
He says, “Whitney and I never really got along. She didn’t necessarily hate me, but she wouldn’t really speak to me either. In Whitney’s eyes, I was the stepchild.”
He adds, “She decided to turn me into one of her security personnel. I was a teenager but I was walking around dressed up in all black with a Security shirt and she’d have me work for her. I was just another one of her staff.”

Being Bobby Brown just a got a bit more interesting. In his controversial upcoming autobiography, “Being Bobby Brown: The Truth, The Whole Truth and Nothing But…” the troubled pop star admits to everything from getting together with Janet Jackson to nearly dying from a drug overdose. But the one thing Bobby, 39, won’t ’fess up to is insulting his ex-wife, famed singer Whitney Houston, 44. “I don’t have anything bad to say about her,” says Bobby. “She should have no worries. There’s no mess in this book.”
Exactly how dirty the former couple’s laundry is, seems relative. “The book is really good. I’m not a complex person,” he says. “I’m just trying to maintain a certain amount of integrity — and a certain amount of bad boy-ness.” Bobby’s tell-all addresses issues such as Whitney’s alleged drug use, rumors about her sexuality and their much-publicized divorce. The R&B crooner is candid about his motives. “I think the story needs to be told from my point of view,” he says. “I still have kids that are in school right now so I have to do what I have to do. Daddy doesn’t stop working.” Bobby’s new book is scheduled to hit stores on May 13. He’s also working on a new album. “I’m in a perfect place right now,” he says. “I’m really happy — that’s why I’m having a beer.”

Whitney Houston is upset that Bobby Brown has gone public with his damaging claims about their marriage in his new autobiography.
In the book, titled Bobby Brown: The Truth, The Whole Truth And Nothing But…, he blames Whitney for the breakdown of their marriage and says that she married him for all the wrong reasons.
In one chapter, Bobby even claims Houston is responsible for getting him hooked on hard drugs.
He writes: “I never used cocaine until after I met Whitney. Before then, I had experimented with other drugs, but marijuana was my drug of choice. “At one point in my life, I used drugs uncontrollably. I was using everything I could get my hands on, from cocaine to heroin, weed and cooked cocaine.”
Whitney has since responded to those allegations and has expressed her disappointment. But she refuses to to hit back at Bobby and takes the high road.
Her spokesperson says, “Miss Houston is sad that Bobby feels he needs to say such things, but she chooses to take the high road and will not speak badly about the father of her child, even if it’s to set the record straight.”

Whitney Houston is set to earn $3 million to perform at a London charity event.
The troubled star has been lined up by billionaire philanthropist John Cauldwell to give a rare one-hour performance at the Cauldwell Children Legends Ball at London’s Battersea Evolution arena on May 8.
A source said: “Mr. Caudwell thinks it is important to raise the profile of the Cauldwell Children charity and stars such as Whitney Houston are the sort of people he’s hoping to attract.”
Whitney - who has battled an addiction to drink and drugs - has made few public appearances in recent years and also has a reputation for failing to turn up for shows.
Her appearance at the Swarovski Fashion Rocks event at London’s Royal Albert Hall last October was her first high-profile public outing since her stint in rehab in 2006.
Last December, she performed at the Live and Loud music festival in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Whitney’s problems with drink and drugs first surfaced in 2000 when she and then husband Bobby Brown were arrested for marijuana possession at a Hawaiian airport and later fined.
Later that year, she gave just 10 minutes notice before pulling out of her scheduled performance at record producer Clive Davis’ induction ceremony into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, amid rumors she was behaving erratically due to drug use.
Whitney was dropped from performing at the 2000 Academy Awards by the show’s musical director Burt Bacharach, after reportedly singing the wrong song at rehearsals.
Whitney divorced Bobby in 2007 following 15 years of marriage.

Whitney Houston is set to make her live comeback in London on May 8th. Organizers of the Caudwell Children’s Legend Ball in Battersea have revealed they’ve booked the diva for a charity show. Charity founder John Caudwell tells Britain’s Marie Claire magazine, “We are thrilled to have an artist of Whitney’s calibre to headline the event.”
The comeback concert isn’t a big surprise - Tina Turner came out of retirement to perform at the charity’s 2007 gala, which helped Caudwell raise over $2 million for disabled children. Houston is currently recording a new album with her mentor, music mogul Clive Davis, who claims the comeback project will be released in November.
