We’ve seen it too many times. A green young actor breaks through and steals our hearts with a memorable offbeat performance in a smash hit comedy, and then, in cruel cosmic irony, is unable to shake the typecasting of the character that made them famous. I’m looking at you, Vote For Pedro guy. “Mini-Me” from Austin Powers. Judge Reinhold. Another young man currently staring this fate in the face is young Christopher Mintz-Plasse, the adorably geeky guy who played McLovin in last year’s Superbad. Luckily, with the McLovin Fund, there’s something we can do to help. So please, donate to this worthy cause lest we find ourselves with another Stifler on our hands.
