Victoria Beckham and soccer star husband David Beckham broke the news at an L.A. Galaxy luncheon on Friday.

“Obviously, we’re very lucky to be expecting again, and this is the first time I’m going to say it: It’s a little girl,” David said. The couple already has three sons: Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.

“We’re still in shock. Obviously, having three boys, you kind of expect another one, so finding out a little girl is in there is surprising, but, obviously, we are over the moon,” David added.

The news was probably most shocking for clothing designer Victoria, who told Vogue U.K. in a pre-pregnancy interview that she and David were hoping to expand their family but she never dreamed she’d have a daughter.

“Maybe one day another baby,” she said, “but at this stage I think the chances of a girl are quite slim.”

Baby Girl Beckham is due in July. “Our three boys are happy and excited,” said David, “and Victoria is doing well.”

Today marks the start of training camp for David Beckham and the LA Galaxy.

In case you didn’t know, the soccer pro and wife Victoria Beckham are among the 1,900 guests invited to the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

“It’s a huge thing for our country to have a royal wedding,” states the Galaxy’s English midfielder to the LA Times. “I’m a big royal family fan, always have been. I was brought up by my grandparents and my parents to love the royal family.”

And just so you know, the royal wedding takes place on April 29, while the Galaxy are set to play in Texas against FC Dallas on May 1.

So will Beckham pack his bags and take a trip overseas for the big occasion?

“We’ll have to wait and see,” Beckham says. “I’ll concentrate on playing and training here. That’s all I’m thinking about.”

Singer and fashionista Victoria Beckham is expecting her fourth child with husband and soccer star David Beckham.

Victoria tells CNN’s Alina Cho that she has always wanted a big family. She currently has three sons and his hoping this time she will have a girl.

“[If I] don’t have a girl this time, then maybe I’ll be lucky enough and have a girl the next time,” Beckham, 36, told Cho (New York Post’s Page Six ran an excerpt of their chat). Beckham has said that she doesn’t yet know her unborn child’s gender.

Would she really consider a fifth kid? “There could be,” the fashionista said. “Who knows?”

What about a sixth?

“Well, I’m not Angelina. I don’t know. I mean, come on.”

I want to see the baby bump!

Victoria Beckham is reportedly planning to pose nude and show off her baby bump!

The 36-year-old is expecting her fourth baby later this year and it’s claimed she will be showing off her bump and following in Demi Moore’s footsteps after she posed naked while seven months pregnant.

A source said to UK magazine Star: ‘Knowing Victoria, she’ll do something completely unique.’

The source added: ‘There’s a real buzz going around about it.’

It’s claimed she will be appearing on the cover of US Vogue magazine however her rep has reportedly dismissed the claims.
