Victoria and David Beckham have finally found their dream Hollywood home – but dismissed it as too expensive.
The multi-million pound couple discovered the Lionsgate residence in Beverley Hills and thought they had struck gold.
The mansion is set in acres of land, affording them the privacy they wanted, as well as having an outdoor pool, tennis courts, cinema and even a two storey guest house.
But The Sun report that Victoria wasn’t happy with the £20 million price tag – surely short change for the global brand Beckham?
A source tells the newspaper: “They are careful with their investments. When you think what David’s deal was to move to LA Galaxy you would think this was a drop in the ocean for them. But they don’t want to spend that much on a Hollywood house at the moment.”

Victoria Beckham’s US visit didn’t go as well as she’d have us all believe, after it was revealed she was the victim of a pig attack.
The incident happened when the Queen of Pout was viewing schools in LA for her three sons.
As she visited a science block in one school, a pack of pot belly pigs made a b-line for the would-be fashion guru.
A source told the National Enquirer, ‘Victoria was being shown around the science lab when two pet pot-bellied pigs, who are allowed to roam free, snuffled up to her.’
Instead of warming to the pigs and petting them, Posh fled the scene with the source adding, ‘She screamed, ‘Get it away!’, and tried to run away in her high heels. It was hysterical, everyone was trying so hard not to laugh.’

With a new blonde hairstyle, she confessed she was struggling to find the right family home.
She has been texting pictures of multi-million-dollar properties to husband David, who is still in Spain playing for Real Madrid before moving to LA Galaxy.
The former Spice Girl said she had started making friends in Hollywood but was reluctant to go partying and clubbing. She said when the family finally moves to California, she would prefer to stay at home with her three children Brooklyn, seven, Romeo, four, and Cruz, two.
Consequently, she has made friends with more “mature couples” such as Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony.
Mrs Beckham, speaking ahead of her return to London, has been on a fact-finding mission in Los Angeles that took in the Oscars ceremony and its parties.
She told the Daily Mirror she was overawed to bump into Tom Hanks – and to discover he knew who she was.
She said: “I was at a party the other day when Tom Hanks came bounding over. He said, “I’m so thrilled you and David are coming over. I’m going to get a season ticket to watch LA Galaxy now.”
“All the time he was talking I was just thinking, “It’s Forrest Gump. And he knows who I am.”
“I don’t know if I’ll ever get used to that when we move here. I don’t get out much, really. I’m usually with David and the boys.”

Victoria Beckham is in talks to appear in her own reality TV show. “No decision has been made yet but it will be coming very soon,” says the source, who is close to Victoria and her husband, soccer star David Beckham.
Though the details of the program have not been finalized, the source says Victoria is discussing starring in a primetime show about her life and work on NBC.
According to the source close to Victoria, the show, rumors of which have been circulating for weeks, “is more about Victoria and her work rather than her children or husband. David is busy with his team in Spain and ongoing work on his soccer academy.”
The program would primarily revolve around Victoria’s fashion business, DVBStyle and her impending move to America with her husband and children.
“It’s not going to be like The Osbournes,” adds the source. “But everyone will be pretty amazed at the TV show. It will be so different.”
Although Victoria is more commonly known for her silent pout than comedy routines, a family friend insists viewers will be stunned by her non-Posh personality.
“She has a fantastic sense of humor,” says the friend. “It is pretty dry, she isn’t into practical jokes but what most people probably don’t realize is that Victoria laughs at herself and doesn’t take herself seriously.”

British novelist Jackie Collins has warned former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham to keep an eye on husband David when the couple move to Los Angeles this summer.
The author, 69, believes soccer superstar David will be approached by hordes of beautiful women if he achieves his ambition of becoming a star in the US, and she advises Victoria to watch out for these “predatorial” women.
David has signed to play for soccer team L.A. Galaxy and he’s rumoured to also be pursuing a film career.
Collins says, “There are so many girls in L.A. that are more beautiful than any on screen and they are predators. If David becomes a movie star, and a lot of people are saying he should, Victoria should know the dangers. You can’t leave men in this town on their own. Not more than a day.” The Beckhams have been plagued by persistent rumours of infidelity during their stay in Madrid, Spain.
