Verne Troyer has been banned from approaching his ex-girlfriend.

The 40-year-old actor has been served with a temporary restraining order after he reportedly bombarded model Yvette Monet with abusive texts and called her a “hooker” when she finished their relationship.

In court papers, Yvette, 25, said their relationship ended months ago, but Verne hadn’t stopped bombarding her with messages since and claimed she feared for her life after the 2ft 8in star told her she “better watch out” because he had friends with guns.

The actress said in her court declaration: “I have moved on, but he keeps emailing me, calling me and texting me awful messages.

“He will not stop. I’ve asked him more than 10 times to leave me alone…He said that he won’t stop because he doesn’t want me to see anyone else…I’m scared.”

“Verne’s friend Bart is carrying guns and will do anything he says and his friend Jose is a cop and has guns as well. I’m afraid for my life.”

Verne - who must stay more than 100 yards away from Yvette under the terms of the order, which was served early last month - is said to be “shocked” by the model’s allegations.

His attorney, Ed McPherson, told E! news: “I guess you can get a restraining order against anyone when you don’t give them notice. He’s shocked and appalled to learn about the false and frivolous accusations that have been made by Ms. Monet. It’s beyond comprehension that a restraining order can be obtained with no notice to Mr. Troyer and no opportunity to defend himself…We look forward to responding to these allegations in court.”

The order will last until December 2, when a court case must take place to decide if it will be extended.

Verne Troyer is to star in his own reality TV show.

The Austin Powers actor, 39, has already begun shooting the series, and is hoping to attract interest from networks.

Troyer tells Us Weekly, “It’s about being a dwarf in Hollywood.”

The actor will be hoping for a more successful venture into reality TV, after an embarrassing episode on VH1’s The Surreal Life in 2007, when he got drunk and urinated on the floor.

Verne Troyer’s video sex partner is pissed, and now claims Mini Me’s m.o. is all about back taxes and a mysterious reference to a “lasting gift”.

Ranae Shrider’s legal mouthpiece, Keith Davidson, is raggin’ on Verne claiming he can’t pay his taxes “because he is paying his lawyer hundreds of thousands of dollars to file ridiculous lawsuits.” He cites, among other things, the suit against TMZ for running the sex tape story, which was dismissed.

Davidson calls Verne “a small-minded, vindictive, heartbroken, desperate and trivial celebrity,” adding, “Mr. Troyer would be better served retiring his Federal and state tax obligations rather than suing a girl who he dated for only three months before videotaping their diminutive sessions.” We’ve never heard a sex tape called a “diminutive session,” but whatever.

Oh yes, and there’s this. Shrider’s lawyer ends with the following shot: “Ms. Shrider would still like to thank Mr. Troyer for the ‘lasting’ gifts he has imparted her with.” So, what do you suppose he means by that?

Verne Troyer’s sex tape partner Ranae Shrider has fired back at the star after he accused her of abuse in a lawsuit filed on Thursday.

The aspiring actress was named in the $20 million suit, which claims she intentionally inflicted emotional distress and battery upon Troyer - by releasing explicit footage of them together and beating him up.

But Shrider is refuting the claims.

Her spokesperson says in a statement: “This lawsuit is ridiculous and riddled with lie upon lie from Verne Troyer and his camp. It is in our opinion a transparent attempt to secure as much publicity as he can from his less than average career in the wake of his most recent failure in The Love Guru.

“The only abuse that ever occurred in their household was that of emotional abuse inflicted upon Ranae and her dog Lacy on the occasions when he hit Ranae and her dog with his ‘reaching sticks’ or kicked them when having one of his drunken rages. This alleged abuse certainly has not seemed to affect his recent round of interviews or his golf swing over the weekend. Is this not the same man who is renowned as a professional stuntman in all his movies?”

Shrider admitted to leaking a clip of the former couple’s sex tape just in June.

Verne Troyer is suing Ranae Shrider, his former GF and sex tape partner, alleging she battered the hell out of him.

In the lawsuit, which will be filed in Federal court any moment, Troyer is accusing Shrider of intentional infliction of emotional distress and battery.

Verne’s killer lawyer, Ed McPherson, tells TMZ, “When you pick up a 2′8″ human being and throw him to the floor, it hurts.”

Others will be sued as well, including a lawyer who allegedly tried to broker a deal for the sale of the sex tape.

In the lawsuit, Troyer basically says the chick terrorized him, once picked the lock to his bedroom door, pushing away a 100 pound scooter that was used to block the door, and then throwing him to the floor.”

Troyer claims his damages from all that Schrider did to him exceed $20 million.

Verne Troyer almost drowned when his ex-girlfriend tried to spice up their love life with a romantic bath.

Aspiring actress Ranae Shrider, who stars in a recently leaked sex tape with Troyer, wanted to surprise the diminutive actor with a sexy soak during an Easter break at the luxury L’Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills.

But the two foot, eight inch-tall Mini-Me star struggled to keep his head above the water after joining Shrider in the bathtub.

She recalls, “I thought it would be fun to do it in the tub. Sadly, I almost killed him. While Verne was watching TV I ran the bath, emptied a bottle of bubbles in it and called him in. But the bubbles were so thick and high that once he climbed in, he got lost under the water and I couldn’t see him. As he disappeared under the water, I heard this tiny yelp for help. I could just hear him crying, ‘Ranae, I can’t see! Get me out, I’m drowning!’ I was frantic and started to scoop the bubbles out so I could find him.

The bath was only about three feet deep but for someone of Verne’s size, it was like he’d fallen into the deep end of a swimming pool - and he can’t swim.

“I put my hand under and eventually felt his bald head and hauled him out. I couldn’t believe I’d tried to do something sexy and ended up almost killing him. He looked like a drowned rat.”

The aspiring actress featured in Verne Troyer’s explicit sex tape was the person who granted a celebrity website permission to air extracts of the footage, it has emerged.

Ex-girlfriend Ranae Shrider was seen kissing the Austin Powers star as he focused the camera for their taped sex romp in brief footage posted on TMZ.com.

Troyer then filed a $20 million lawsuit against the website’s owners, claiming they violated his rights by publishing clips from the film last week.

The diminutive actor obtained a temporary restraining order forcing TMZ to pull the sex tape from the internet - but Shrider’s revelation in a signed declaration filed at a Los Angeles court earlier this week has prompted a judge to reverse the ruling.
The footage was reinstated on the website on Tuesday evening.

However, the judge has still imposed a ban on an adult film distributor from selling or taking orders for the tape.
