Nick Lachey and pregnant wife Vanessa Minnillo were spotted taking a coastal tour of Coogee in Sydney, Australia.

Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey are having a baby! Lachey announced their big news whie co-hosting this morning’s ‘Live! With Kelly’. (Watch the video of Nick announcing their news here!) “She was in New York and I was in the Bahamas,” Lachey told Kelly this morning. “She went to the store and got a pregnancy test and it came back positive. We’re having a baby!”

Gushed the ecstatic dad-to-be: “This is the one thing that more than any other I’ve looked forward to, and it’s overwhelming.”

The duo aren’t yet positive on the names. “If it’s a girl, I think it might be Sophia. If it’s a boy, I’m not sure.”

He noted that Minnillo is “due in late summer, early fall.”

Minnillo offered a sneak peak of her baby bump while vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico Feb. 25.

“It just looked like she had eaten a really big burrito for a while,” he joked.

Her cravings? “She loves, she craves Mexican food right now. She could eat a burrito a day so you can imagine what our house smells like right about now.”

Lachey added that he is more than happy to tend to his wife’s every need “I’m the one running in the middle of the night to the restaurants to get her whatever she needs.”

Back in August, Lachey, 37, said he was “doing everything I can” to get his wife pregnant.

“Trust me, it would make me very happy,” he said. “Family is very important. It’s very important to us, and I’m sure that will be around the corner.”

The Wipeout hostess and The Sing Off host wed on Necker Island last July. Lachey’s first wife, Jessica Simpson, is due with her own child this spring; the dad is fiance Eric Johnson.

According to US Weekly, Minnillo, 30, is “Just 12 weeks. They’re both thrilled so excited. Can’t wait to meet the new little one.”

The pair are making their home in the Encino, Calif. area of the San Fernando Valley in an 8,000 square-foot, 6-bedroom, 8-bathroom Spanish style house — leaving plenty of space for the two lovebirds to expand their family.

The home features vaulted beam ceilings, numerous fireplaces, a state of the art kitchen, large balconies and rustic outdoor living space with pool.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Nick sold his Bel Air bachelor pad earlier this year for nearly $6 million.

Ahhh….downsizing for the married life.

Former husband of Jessica Simpson, Nick Lachey, is doing his best to get new wife, Vanessa Minnilo, preggers.

The 37-year-old Sing-Off host ells E! News he’s “doing everything I can” to get Minnillo, 30, in the family way asap.

“Trust me, it would make me very happy,” he said. “Family is very important. It’s very important to us, and I’m sure that will be around the corner.”

Lachey told Parade magazine earlier this summer he wanted to become a father “sooner than later.”

“I’m getting up there,” he said. “I’ve gotta catch up with my brother. [Drew's] got two and I’ve got zero, so the pressure is on me!”

Minnilo is even on the family bandwagon. She updated her Twitter bio to include “wifey by night” and “wannabe mommy all the time.”

Nick’s got to stay one step ahead of Jessica Simpson at all times, so I am sure the duo will be pregnant in no time!

All kidding aside, I think they make a great pair. Hopefully their baby plans will soon become a reality.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo took preparing their wedding vows so seriously that they actually googled a how-to-guide!

The pair are now happily married. Their wedding too place on July 15th on the cliffs of the British Virgin Islands’ Necker Island.

“Vanessa and I have decided to write our own vows mainly because it makes it more personal, more meaningful when the words you’re saying to one another come from your heart,” Lachey, 37, said of his plans with girlfriend of five years Minnillo, 30.

“It’s something very special knowing these vows that I write to him and that he writes to me will never be said by anybody else,” Vanessa reveals in a preview clip from the couple’s upcoming TLC wedding special. “These were my words and my heart and soul that I’m giving to him and he’s giving to me.”

Quickly getting his fill of gushy vow talk, Lachey attempts to change the subject to his wedding-related task: their honeymoon plans.

“I’m a travel nerd,” Lachey proudly professes before struggling to pronounce exotic locales like “Anguilla.”

Minnillo isn’t necessarily concerned with where they end up (St. Barts), but instead is happy they’ll be vacationing as husband and wife.

“Regardless of where we go, we just know we’ll be there as Mr. and Mrs. Lachey, and I’m really excited about that!” she gushes.

Either singer Nick Lachey didn’t learn his lesson the first time around or he’s been taking lessons from Kim Kardashian in profiting as much as he can from a wedding, but it’s been reported that he and fiance Vanessa Minnillo plan to televise their wedding…as Nick did with ex-wife Jessica Simpson their MTV show, Newlyweds.

TLC will air “Nick & Vanessa’s Dream Wedding” (working title), a special to air just weeks after the couple’s wedding date, which they are keeping top secret.

Lachey, 37, and Vanessa Minnillo, 30, have been dating since 2006 and got engaged last fall. He and ex-wife Jessica Simpson documented their own wedding and early married life on MTV’s Newlyweds.

“We’re lucky to have such passionate and loving fans, and we thought partnering with TLC on this special would be the best way to share the exciting journey we’re on with all the people that support us and our relationship,” Lachey and Minnillo said in a statement.

The special will feature footage from their joint wedding shower, Minnillo’s wedding dress search and the ceremony itself.

No disrespect to the couple, but…do people really care enough to watch this special? Nick and Jessica were such a high profile couple during their time, but do people want to watch Nick get married…again?
