Oscar nominee Heath Ledger has received an esteemed accolade for his performance in Brokeback Mountain.Accompanied by his fiancée Michelle Williams at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, he was honoured with the Breakthrough Performance of the Year Award.On receiving the gong, he said: “I guess I still feel like I’m ‘breaking through’ and me personally I don’t ever want to feel like I have broken through.”I want to continue to strive for better but it’s obviously an honour and this is really overwhelming.”

So apparently Britney Spears really is filming an episode of Will & Grace. (Does anyone even watch that show anymore?) Here she is on the NBC set of Will & Grace. Britney’s character was originally described as a Christian conservative who would provide a cooking segment called “Cruci-fixin’s” on Jack’s talk show “Jack Talk”. Christian conservatives lashed out and NBC released a statement saying,”Some erroneous information was mistakenly included in a press release describing an upcoming episode of Will & Grace which, in fact, has yet to be written. The reference to ‘Cruci-fixin’s’ will not be in the show and the storyline will not contain a Christian characterization at all. We value our viewers and sincerely regret if this misinformation has offended them.” Britney’s character is still unknown but hopefully wardrobe picked out a better outfit for her character than what she’s wearing in these pictures.

Halle Berry with her new man, Gabriel Aubry – a Versace model. Halle and Gabriel first met in December 2005 while shooting the Versace Spring/Summer 2006 ad campaign together and two months later are dating. Halle and Gabriel made their first public appearance together this past Tuesday at a cocktail party hosted by Donatella Versace in celebration of the reopening of the Versace flagship store on Fifth Avenue. According to reports, they were inseparable the entire night.
