How much would you pay for a picture of the Jolie-Pitt baby?
The NY Post reports:
THE birth of the world’s sexiest baby is still two or more months away, but already the celebrity magazines are preparing to bid heavily for the first photos of the offspring of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Some sources think that the war could end up breaking the old record set by the photos from Catherine Zeta Jones’ wedding to Michael Douglas, won by OK! in 2000, or the more recent Britney Spears baby photo that People snagged.
“Those two magazines are just going to bid it up into the millions,” said one editor who is sitting it out. “It could end up being the biggest photo sale of all time.”
The price tag could reach $4 million. People Managing Editor Larry Hackett said, “I’d love to have these photographs, but it has to make sense editorially, journalistically and from a business standpoint.” Time Inc. as a company has a policy of not paying celebrities for news photos, but in the “first bump” photos of Angelina, revealing that she and Brad were expecting company, got around that sticking point by donating an estimated $400,000 to a favorite charity of the happy parents.

So you all know I’m crazy about the Oscars. CRAZY! I throw an Oscar party every year…we predict the winners, eat lotsa food, blah, blah, blah. Well, how can I predict who will win, if I don’t see the movies? So I try to make it a point of seeing most of the movies on the ballots. I’ve done a pretty good job this year. There are a couple ones I still need to get to (Munich, Capote)…but I’m doing good. There are some coming out on video - and last night I rented Junebug. Amy Adams has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress.
Anyway…I liked it. I liked it a lot. And I think that Alessandro Nivola is HOT. (You may know him from Face Off or Laurel Canyon–GOOD MOVIE).
So what’s my point? You should watch it!

TOM IS CRAZY!!! (Like this Valentine’s card…it’s all over the internet today)
Tom was interviewed recently by Life & Style, and when asked about Katie, this is what the crazy bastard had to say:
“I’ve got Katie tucked away, so no one will get to us until my child is born — and until I want them to,” Cruise recently told a friend according to the new issue of Life & Style Weekly. “I said [Katie’s] life from now on was going to be about being a mother, I’m not giving her a chance to become another Nicole.”
When I read this story, I thought of poor ol Katie being chained to the wall like the Sloth in Goonies. Maybe she wants a Baby Ruth. (No pun intended) And he’s not going to let her be another Nicole?? Hmmm…

There are going to be lots of cool performers tonight at the Grammys. (I can’t wait to see Madonna perform with the Gorillaz) One of them is Kelly Clarkson. What do you think of her new look?
