Your wedding invite isn’t in the mail.  According to TMZ, the ring that Halle Berry is sporting is NOT an engagement ring. It is a gift from her boyfriend Olivier Martinez, but he has not proposed.

sources connected to the couple tell us … as of last week, Halle and Olivier Martinez were not engaged.  Our sources say Olivier did indeed give Halle the ring as a gift, but it positively is not a symbol of getting engaged.

Halle and Olivier are in a “committed relationship” and marriage “could be in the cards,” but as of last week — when the photo came out — they were not engaged.

Why not just have your rep issue a short and sweet statement then? I suppose it’s great publicity even if it’s false, right? And they can’t spend their days hitting back at every rumor….

After a late night at the People’s Choice Awards, actress Jennifer Morrison headed to The Grove for an interview with ‘Extra‘.  Jennifer is promoting her show ‘Once Upon a Time’.

Rumors started flying in the UK that ‘Vampire Diaries‘ co-stars and real-life couple Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev were having problems after Nina turned down his marriage proposal.  A Source tells Us Weekly:

“There’s a crazy story that started in the British tabloids that Ian proposed to Nina. The report claims that Dobrev, 23, “turned him down and that’s causing friction in their relationship.”

“It’s totally not true! There was no proposal at all.”

Nina’s rep confirmed that the whole thing was fabricated:

“There is no truth to this item at all. There was no proposal.”

I think it’s a case of Delena fans getting carried away after last week’s episode ending!

Jason Derulo was badly injured yesterday while rehearsing for his upcoming concert tour.

The singer was rehearsing an acrobatic move when he fell on his head, which resulted in a fractured vertebrae in his neck. The injury could have easily caused paralysis, so he’s incredibly lucky! He will be required to wear a neck brace for several months.

As a result of the injury, he was forced to cancel all upcoming tour dates as well as promotional appearnces.

“To all my fans who planned to come to the Future History World Tour, the pain of letting you down cuts me way deeper than this injury I’ve sustained,” Derulo said in a statement.

He added, “My fans mean everything to me, so I’m praying for a speedy recovery in order to perform for you in the near future.”

The tour was set to kick off in Glasgow on February 23.

Who would have thought that ‘Brat Pack’ member Anthony Michael Hall didn’t like the legendary moniker that has followed him for the last 25 years. For those of you too young to remember, Anthony starred in classic John Hughes 1980s films like ‘Sixteen Candles,’ ‘The Breakfast Club’ and ‘Weird Science,’ and during an interview with Dave Nadelberg for the Sundance channel’s ‘The Mortified Sessions,’ he explains the origin of the name and why he doesn’t understand how he got caught up in such “an annoying label.”

“It was a New York Magazine article, and they sat a bunch of actors down at dinner and they got them drunk and they got them talking about themselves. I wasn’t even included in the article, and it just became the cover story slogan, and it has nothing to do with anything,” he said.

The article, “Hollywood’s Brat Pack,” written by David Blum, is still available online in the magazine’s archives, and is fascinating to re-read given the cultural phenomenon it gave birth to. The piece focused on Judd Nelson, Emilio Estevez and Rob Lowe, and described them as “a roving band of famous young stars on the prowl for parties, women, and a good time.” Despite not being mentioned in the article, Hall’s roles in Hughes’ zeitgeist-capturing movies made him an honorary member in the public consciousness anyway.

Soul and R&B singer John Legend has decided to put a ring on it after years of dating his IMG model girlfriend Chrissy Teigen.

The  ‘Ordinary People’ singer’s rep released a simple statement about the newly engaged couple, saying:

“John Legend and his girlfriend, model Chrissy Teigen, got engaged over the holidays while vacationing in the Maldives.”

Though the rep didn’t give an further details about how the 32-year-old popped the question, it is known that he does have big Las Vegas plans this weekend — it’s not all pleasure, however. John will be taking the stage at the Palms Hotel and Casino at their illustrious venue The Pearl.
