After X Factor judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger both voted off 14-year-old Drew Ryniewicz last week, the pair have been overwhelmed with harassment and threats by fans of the young singer.
There is one, however, who has stepped up and defended the two: host Steve Jones.
“There is a lot of money and fame at stake, but still, everyone just chill out — please. It’s a TV show.”
Even though the threats are coming from Twitter and Facebook, that doesn’t mean that they aren’t being taken seriously.
“Death threats always raise a certain amount of concern. I think it’s something you always have to take seriously and I’m sure security will be amped up at the studio.”

You may think that being known as the “White House Party Crasher” is enough humiliation, but Tareq Salahi takes his wife’s infidelities with Journey guitarist and ex-friend Neal Schon much more seriously, seeing as he’s suing them both for $17 million.
Both Neal and Michaele Salahi were very public with their romantic tryst and Tareq claims the public humiliation has not only effected him emotionally, but financially.
He says pending TV deals have been canceled and he’s strapped with $2 million in debt.
Regarding the lawsuit, Schon said he thinks “some people don’t like to work. I think some people need to get a grip and move on.”
It’s reported that Neal will be with Michaele and her family for Thanksgiving.

Jackass star Ryan Dunn died in a car accident this past June, leaving friends and family distraught and searching for answers. What has since been ruled a drunk driving accident, Ryan will now be remembered by his friends and castmates in an upcoming MTV Special that will chronicle his life in Ohio with Bam Margera, Johnny Knoxville and the Jackass crew.
The special will also feature never-aired footage from Viva la Bam and Jackass. Johnny Knoxville talked about the special, saying:
“I still can’t believe he’s gone but we wouldn’t trust anyone else with this, so we are doing the best we can for Ryan, his family, friends, and everyone who loved him,” he said.
“He was willing to do whatever it takes [to make people laugh],” [Bam] Margera, 32, said of Dunn. “[He was] fearless, self-deprecating…I think we liked hearing people say that we’re crazy.”
Ryan was driving his Porsche 911 GT3 at 130 miles an hour with a blood alcohol level of .196 when he crashed his car. He wasn’t the only person who died in the accident, his friend Zachary Hartwell also lost his life.
The “Ryan Dunn Tribute Special” will air Nov. 28 at 10:30 p.m. EST on MTV.

Kris Humphries is moving forward from his 72-day marriage, and is now that the NBA lockout is in full effect, the baller is looking to make some money, seeing as how his part in the Kardashian empire is coming to a close. The pre-nup keeps Kris from getting any of his ex-wife’s holdings, but the 26-year-old just announced that he has a new deal with Sector watches.
“I’m happy to be here. As you all know, this has been a difficult time in my life, and I’m so grateful [for] my friends at Sector for their unwavering support.”"It truly represents who I am both on and off the court. I’ve been a watch and fashion lover my entire life and a competitor and the no limit tag is really about how I approach my career.”
“I’m really honored to be with the Sector brand,” Kardashian’s future ex-hubby said. “Most of all, they really do have great watches… A portion of the sales will go to my foundation which is all set up to fight against childhood obesity and it’s a really great thing.”
While the NBA lockout continues, he is going to focus on his foundation and keep training.
“I continue to train every day. I’ve been in the NBA for seven years and have built some great friendships. We are all working hard and getting ready… I’m ready for when it happens.”
