Former star of The Bachelorette Trista Sutter is the first to admit what every new mom knows: Taking off the baby weight is really hard work. And for Trista, who added roughly 43 pounds to her 110-pound body before giving birth to her second child in April, dropping down to 108 pounds was a major accomplishment. “It was harder to lose weight this time around,” Trista told Life & Style while showing off her new body on Sept. 22. “I gained 10 more pounds this time” with Blakesley, 6 months, than with Max, now 2.

But it wasn’t all work. “I’m in mommy mode all day long, so to have an hour to myself four times a week to just sweat it out is a little relief for me,” Trista, 36, tells Life & Style. “My routine is a mix of cardio and interval resistance training.” Trista also had to be more conscious of her post-pregnancy diet because she was a little less focused on what she was eating during her pregnancy. “I had gestational diabetes with Max, so I really had to watch what I ate at the end of that pregnancy. With Blakesley, I didn’t have diabetes, so I went all out — I ate everything,” she says.

Trista says it took six to eight weeks after starting her regimen to see the results she wanted. And simply wanting to get back to her svelte self motivated Trista the most. “I’m definitely my own worst critic,” she says. “I’m very critical of how I look and feel, mainly because I want to feel sexy for my husband,” Ryan Sutter, whom Trista met on The Bachelorette and married in 2003.

Trista and Ryan Sutter welcomed a baby girl, Blakesley Grace Sutter, at 1:23 p.m. on Friday in Colorado, where they live. “She’s healthy. Everything is really good,” an exhausted Trista tells Life & Style exclusively. The newest member of the Sutter family arrived by Caesarean section weighing 6 pounds, 2 ounces and measuring 19 inches. Trista and Ryan wed in 2003 after meeting on the debut edition of ABC’s The Bachelorette the year before. They welcomed their son, Maxwell Alston Sutter, on July 26, 2007.

Trista tells Life & Style that with two healthy children, this will be the last child for the couple. Trista says she plans to get the Essure permanent birth control procedure.

Former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants are slamming Jason Mesnick for dumping fiancee Melissa Rycroft for Molly Malaney on Monday’s final,

On his Facebook page, season 10′s Andy Baldwin wrote: “Andy is glad when he was the Bach. He was a man and didn’t sell his soul and cave. Such a sellout.”

Later, he posted: “You do NOT break up on national television. That is the opposite of a gentleman.”

Trista Sutter — the only reality star to wed after the show — was also shocked that Mesnick (who has a son, Ty, 4) “would propose to one woman, introduce her to his child and then hook up with a new woman.”

“How could you go from being engaged to someone, to kissing someone else on the couch?!” she fumed to Momlogic.com. “He doesn’t deserve to walk away scot-free.”

“What disappointed me as a mom is that he introduced both girls to Ty,” she went on. “Melissa was around, and now she’s gone. What is Ty going to think?”

Sutter — who is expecting her second child with husband Ryan — said she sent a text message to Melissa that said, “‘I’m proud of the way you handled it.’”

Added Sutter, “She deserves so much better! Melissa hasn’t been able to say anything about this until now, so I think she’s relieved. I am happy she can finally move on. As far as I’m concerned, this is a blessing in disguise. Now she can find someone who truly loves her.”

Sutter called Mesnick “obviously fickle” and warned Molly against jumping into a relationship with him after the way he treated Melissa.

“How can you trust him?” she said.

On Monday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Mesnick defended his decision to dump Melissa.

“How was I supposed to lead somebody on, or keep on going, if it really wasn’t there?” he said. “That’s the honest truth.”

Bachelorette Trista Sutter and her firefighter husband, Ryan, are thrilled to learn they are having a baby girl. “We found out a few weeks ago,” Trista tells In Touch exclusively. “It was such a fun surprise. We went to our last ultrasound appointment with Ryan’s parents, my parents and Max (their 16-month-old son) and we were all in the room together when the doctor said, ‘It’s a girl.’ Everyone got so teary-eyed and emotional.”

Trista confides that while the baby’s gender wasn’t as important to her as the baby’s health, she can admit now she is ecstatic. “I can’t wait to dress her up in cute little outfits. I’m such a girlie girl. It will be so much fun to do things like get manicures together.”

While Trista and Ryan have already picked out their little girl’s name, they plan to keep it a secret until she is born in April.

Trista and Ryan Sutter—who met and fell in love during the taping of The Bachelorette—are expecting their second child, Star has learned exclusively.

“Trista is pregnant again and she is very happy,” an insider tells Star. “She has always wanted a second child so she is thrilled!”

Trista and Ryan were married on TV in December 2003 and had their first child, a son they named Maxwell, on July 26, 2007.

Just before the birth of Maxwell Trista confessed, “It took us a long time to get pregnant so it makes it that much sweeter. It’s my dream to be a mom.”

Of all the potential matches made on ABC’s The Bachelor and The Bachelorette series, only one has taken – and stuck.

Trista and Ryan Sutter met on The Bachelorette in 2002 and tied the knot on ABC in December of 2003 in front of 26 million viewers.

Now, to celebrate their fifth anniversary together, Trista and Ryan are set to christen the newest addition to the Love Boat fleet of Princess Cruise ships cruisers, the Ruby Princess on Nov. 6 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

“We’re incredibly honored to be invited to be the godparents of Ruby Princess,” says Trista. “It’s hard to believe that it’s been five years since we got married. This is a wonderful way to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and also to remind people about the importance of marking not only the key milestones in a relationship, but also making time to incorporate romance into our everyday lives.”

With a Candyland themed bash, Max Sutter’s 1st-birthday celebration couldn’t have been any sweeter. But Aug. 9 was a special day for more than the birthday boy. Max’s parents, Trista and firefighter Ryan Sutter (who fell in love on ABC’s The Bachelorette and wed in 2003), couldn’t stop gushing about their son, who turned 1 on July 26. “It turned out to be one of the best days of Max’s life so far, filled with tons of family, good friends and yummy treats,” Trista, 35, tells Life & Style. In fact, aside from the threat of rain (which caused Mom and Dad to move the festivities indoors to the firehouse in Avon, Colo.), the party went off without a hitch.

“I love party planning,” says Trista, who enlisted the help of Momlogic.com contributor Jennifer Sbranti, who’s also the founder of Hostesswith themostess.com. Sbranti and Momlogic.com created a 10-foot buffet that had more than 200 pounds of candy from the Sweet Factory, as well as giant candy decorations and lollipop bouquets. Guests also enjoyed sliders and fries prepared by chef David Sanchez. But the sweetest parts were the personal touches, which included a hand-painted treasure chest that Trista and Ryan filled with toys for Max. “The greatest thing about being a dad is watching Max grow and seeing him do new things every day,” Ryan, 33, tells Life & Style.

PS: Does anyone know what happened to Max’s face? I can’t tell! I can see a bandaid, but why is it all brown?
