Are you going to see “The Happening”? (Zooey was on Letterman to promote the film, which is out tomorrow)
I have a love-hate relationship with M. Night Shyamalan. I loved “The Sixth Sense”, “Unbreakable” and “Signs”. Signs scared the crap out of me… gotta say. But then I went on and hated “The Village” and “Lady in the Water”. The latter was so bad, it was comical. So I’m really hoping that “The Happening” will be his return to making good movies. Of course I’ll still see it… and probably be scared out of my mind…but I hope I love it.
I cannot WAIT to see this movie! I’ll watch any Baz Luhrmann film!!

Here is the trailer for “Baby Mama” starring Tina Fey, and Amy Poehler. I’ve watched it about 5 times, and almost pee my pants every time. If you ask me, Tina Fey is a genius! It opens on April 25th in theaters near you!
When a sudden plague of blindness devastates a city, a small group of the afflicted band together to triumphantly overcome the horrific conditions of their imposed quarantine. BLINDNESS, starring Academy Award®-nominee Julianne Moore, Gael García Bernal, Mark Ruffalo, Sandra Oh and Danny Glover, is a psychological thriller about the fragility of mankind. Adapted from Nobel Laureate José Saramago’s masterwork, the film is directed by Academy Award®-nominee Fernando Meirelles (“City of God”) from a screenplay by Tony Award-winner Don McKellar (“The Drowsy Chaperone”).
Professor Lawrence Wetherhold (Dennis Quaid) might be imperiously brilliant, monumentally self-possessed and an intellectual giant — but when it comes to solving the conundrums of love and family, he’s as downright flummoxed as the next guy. His teenaged daughter (Ellen Page) is an acid-tongued overachiever who follows all too closely in dad’s misery-loving footsteps, and his adopted, preposterously ne’er-do-well brother (Thomas Haden Chuch) has perfected the art of freeloading. A widower who can’t seem to find passion in anything anymore, not even the Victorian Literature in which he’s an expert, it seems Lawrence is sleepwalking through a very stunted middle age. When his brother shows up unexpectedly for an extended stay at just about the same time as he accidentally encounters his former student Janet (Sarah Jessica Parker), the circumstances cause him to stir from his deep, deep freeze, with often comical, sometimes heartbreaking, consequences for himself and everyone around him.
Not the most flattering picture of SJP, if you ask me.
I think this movie looks AMAZING!!! Check out the trailer.
