TRAILER TIME! ‘The Dictator’ starring Sacha Baron Cohen!

Sacha Baron Cohen is at it again. After hits like ‘Da Ali G Show’, ‘Borat’ and ‘Bruno’, he’s now bringing us ‘The Dictator’, a spoof about the regime of a powerful dictator.

Enter “The Dictator,” Baron Cohen’s latest film. He plays a North African dictator named General Aladeen, a combination of such deposed despots as Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi who gets sent to the United States, and from the look of this first trailer, relies less on a culture clash than exaggerating the awful things a power hungry, egomaniacal dictator might do to make sure he holds on tight to his rule. And, remarkably, it’s hilarious.

Also featuring in the film are Megan Fox (who we see in the trailer) and Anna Faris, who plays a love interest that opens his eyes to new things — like organic groceries.

TRAILER TIME! ‘Rock of Ages’ starring Tom Cruise, Julianne Hough and Russell Brand is here!

Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Julianne Hough, Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti, Malin Akerman and Mary J. Blige are just some of the big faces packing Rock of Ages, an adaptation of the hair metal Broadway musical.

The rock and roll romance features the music of bands like Poison, Twisted Sister, Bon Jovi, Journey, Foreigner, Joan Jett and Def Leppard.

One thing I found really interesting about the trailer – is the lack of Tom Cruise! He’s only in it for a second at the very end. Don’t you think that’s weird?

‘Men in Black 3′ Trailer is Here!

“Men In Black” is back!

The new MIB will take a trip back to our favorite 90′s memories, back when we were first introduced to Agent J (Will Smith) and Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones). Then – back to 1969 when J seeks out the truth about K.

This first trailer marks a milestone in a long, drawn out struggle to get a third iteration of the sci-fi comedy franchise into theaters. Delays plagued the Barry Sonnenfield-directed film last winter, with alleged script problems and a long holiday break pushing back filming on what Sony hopes will be another big money hit. The first two films made over $1 billion at the box office.

Will Josh Brolin joining the cast, as a young K, breathe new life into the franchise? We’ll find out come May 25th.

I can’t wait! I secretly love the MIB movies.

TRAILER TIME! ‘The Five-Year Engagement’ starring Emily Blunt and Jason Segel!

Universal Pictures just debuted the first trailer and poster for Nicholas Stoller’s The Five-Year Engagement, opening in theaters on April 27.

The director and writer/star of Forgetting Sarah Marshall reteam for the irreverent comedy. Beginning where most romantic comedies end, the new film from director Stoller, producer Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, The 40-Year-Old Virgin) and Rodney Rothman (Get Him to the Greek), looks at what happens when an engaged couple, Jason Segel and Emily Blunt, keeps getting tripped up on the long walk down the aisle.

Looks great!

TRAILER TIME! ‘The Three Stooges’ (It’s worse than you think)

The trailer for ‘The Three Stooges’ is out – and it’s waaaaaaaaaaaaay worse than you thought possible.

The movie stars Sean Hayes, Will Sasso and Chris Diamantopoulos as the titular trio (Larry, Curly and Moe, respectively), and also features Jane Lynch, Larry David, Sofia Vergara, Jennifer Hudson and Snooki.

Honestly – what were they thinking?!

TRAILER TIME! Julia Roberts in ‘Mirror, Mirror’ (the OTHER Snow White film)

Here’s the trailer for ‘Mirror, Mirror’, which happens to be the second Snow White movie in the works. This movie stars Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen, Lily Collins as Snow White and Armie Hammer as Prince Charming.

This trailer gets a big ol’ yawn from me. It doesn’t pique my interests at all. In fact, I might even to go so far as to say it looks pretty terrible.

I think my biggest complaint is Julia Roberts. She’s totally WRONG for the part. And call me crazy, but her acting looks absolutely atrocious!

In all fairness, this does look like it’s going to be more of a family film, which would explain all the over-the-topness.

Want something to compare it to? Check out ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’! Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron look like they do it – the way it should be done!

TRAILER TIME: The full length ‘Hunger Games’ trailer is here!

This morning Lionsgate premiered it’s first trailer for ‘The Hunger Games’ on Good Morning America!

The highly anticipated movie adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ blockbuster novel looks like it’s going to be amazing! The trailer looks great!

I don’t care if you thumb your nose at YA literature in general, if you don’t know your Mockingjay from your President Snow, and if you’re fed up with all of EW’s panting over Collins’ trilogy. Surely even the most determined haters felt their pulse quicken in that final countdown, before 24 children of Panem set off to fight to the death in front of television cameras. 3. 2. 1! I can’t think of a more brilliant way to end the trailer to director Gary Ross’ movie than watching a terrified Katniss and Peeta, played by Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, racing for their backpacks and the protection of the woods.

What else made me giddy with anticipation? Hearing the off-kilter trill of Elizabeth Banks’ voice as Effie Trinket. She looked unrecognizable beneath all that garish makeup and her Capitol get-up looked like a blood splotch on the dreary, terrified District 12 crowd at the Reaping. The Reaping! I wonder if those who still wring their hands over Lawrence’s casting are soothed once and for all after hearing her scream like a cornered cat “I volunteer! I volunteer!” Or how about the thrill of seeing the glorious Stanley Tucci in that inky blue black ponytail? Or hearing Lenny Kravitz’s Cinna’s soothing bass: “I’m here to help you make an impression.”
There were so many delights for fans of the trilogy to soak in. Tiny Rue peeking behind the corner. The menacing coil of Seneca Crane’s beard. (Hey, Wes Bentley!) Katniss’ girlish twirl on stage and the way Lawrence’s face drooped at the end. I remain nervous about Woody Harrelson’s hair but his voice — “make sure they remember you” — is thick with all the urgency and assumed glibness I wanted from my big screen Haymitch.

But the countdown. The countdown kills me. Hunger Games fans: What do you think of the trailer? And for those either unimpressed by the hype or unfamiliar with the trilogy, did this trailer make a believer out of you?
