It’s here! Check out the first trailer for ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’

Johnny Depp
stars in the fourth installment of the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ series, this one ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.’ Joining him is Penelope Cruz, who plays the eccentric Jack’s love interest.

The movie is set to be released May 20th of next year.

PS: It will be strange to see a Pirates movie without Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley! I’m sure Johnny Depp can handle the movie on his own, I’ll just miss the other two!

Depp and Cruz have plenty of chemistry. They starred together in 2001′s ‘Blow’. They are definitely convincing as a couple! (Not like he and Angelina Jolie is ‘The Tourist’)

Here it is! The trailer for Mel Gibson’s new movie ‘The Beaver’

Two-time Academy Award winner Jodie Foster directs and co-stars with two-time Academy Award winner Mel Gibson in The Beaver – an emotional story about a man on a journey to re-discover his family and re-start his life.

Plagued by his own demons, Walter Black was once a successful toy executive and family man who now suffers from depression. No matter what he tries, Walter can’t seem to get himself back on track… until a beaver hand puppet enters his life.

I wonder what will happen with this movie. It doesn’t actually look all that bad – but I’m wondering if all that’s happened with Mel this year will sink the film.

What do you think? Will you see the movie – no matter what?

Newleyweds Katy Perry and Russell Brand at the premiere of Russell’s new movie ‘The Tempest’

The new version of Shakespeare’s classic tale is directed by Julie Taymor (of the Broadway productions of “The Lion King” and “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark”) and features an incredible ensemble cast that includes Alan Cumming, Helen Mirren, Alfred Molina and Brand, among many others.

In her big-screen adaptation of Shakespeare’s mystical thriller The Tempest, Academy Award-nominated Julie Taymor brings an original dynamic to the story by changing the gender of the sorcerer Prospero into the sorceress Prospera, portrayed by Oscar winner Helen Mirren. Prospera’s journey spirals through vengeance to forgiveness as she reigns over a magical island, cares for her young daughter, Miranda, and unleashes her powers against shipwrecked enemies in this exciting, masterly mix of romance, tragicomedy and the supernatural.

Cameron Diaz and Seth Rogen at a ‘Green Hornet’ photocall in Spain

Cameron’s looking… older. A bit on the orange side.

I hope this movie is good, I love Seth Rogen!

Trailer Time! Check out the trailer for ‘Your Highness’ starring James Franco, Natalie Portman and MORE!

‘Your Highness’ looks to be absolutely hilarious. From the creator of ‘Pineapple Express’ comes this new comedy starring James Franco, Danny McBride (love him!), Zooey Deschanel, Natalie Portman and Justin Theroux! The trailer is a bit naughty, just giving you a heads up.

Throughout history, tales of chivalry have burnished the legends of brave, handsome knights who rescue fair damsels, slay dragons and conquer evil. But behind many a hero is a good-for-nothing younger brother trying just to stay out of the way of those dragons, evil and trouble in general. Danny McBride and James Franco team up for an epic comedy adventure set in a fantastical world—Your Highness. As two princes on a daring mission to save their land, they must rescue the heir apparent’s fiancée before their kingdom is destroyed.

Thadeous (McBride) has spent his life watching his perfect older brother Fabious (Franco) embark upon valiant journeys and win the hearts of his people. Tired of being passed over for adventure, adoration and the throne, he’s settled for a life of wizard’s weed, hard booze and easy maidens. But when Fabious’ bride-to-be, Belladonna (Zooey Deschanel), gets kidnapped by the evil wizard Leezar (Justin Theroux), the king gives his deadbeat son an ultimatum: Man up and help rescue her or get cut off.

Half-assedly embarking upon his first quest, Thadeous joins Fabious to trek across the perilous outlands and free the princess. Joined by Isabel (Natalie Portman)—an elusive warrior with a dangerous agenda of her own—the brothers must vanquish horrific creatures and traitorous knights before they can reach Belladonna. If Thadeous can find his inner hero, he can help his brother prevent the destruction of his land. Stay a slacker, and not only does he die a coward, he gets front row seats to the dawn of an all-new Dark Ages.

Wow, I cannot stop laughing! This movie looks hilarious (and very crude). “If your v**ina is anything like my hand, it will be no problem”. LOL!

Trailer Time! Check out the trailer for Jake’s new film, ‘Source Code’

Here’s the trailer for Jake Gyllenhaal’s new movie, ‘Source Code’. I don’t think it looks terribly interesting (or original), but I could be wrong. Looks like Groundhog Day meets Inception.

When decorated soldier Captain Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) wakes up in the body of an unknown man, he discovers he’s part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train. In an assignment unlike any he’s ever known, he learns he’s part of a government experiment called the “Source Code,” a program that enables him to cross over into another man’s identity in the last 8 minutes of his life. With a second, much larger target threatening to kill millions in downtown Chicago, Colter re-lives the incident over and over again, gathering clues each time, until he can solve the mystery of who is behind the bombs and prevent the next attack.

Filled with mind-boggling twists and heart-pounding suspense, Source Code is a smart action-thriller directed by Duncan Jones (Moon) also starring Michelle Monaghan (Eagle Eye, Due Date), Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air, The Departed), and Jeffrey Wright (Quantum of Solace, Syriana).

Watch the trailer – what do you think?
