Tori Spelling & Dean McDermott are getting ready for their daughter’s first Christmas! Tori, 35, tells Life & Style about what Stella’s getting for her first Christmas and how she’ll spend Christmas Day with hubby Dean, 42, son Liam, 21 months, and daughter Stella, 6 months.

“We’ll have a family morning at home opening presents. Stella’s ready for some learning toys, so we might get her an activity gym for the floor and a bouncer,” says the actress, who loves to make gingerbread houses on Christmas Eve. “And I have to spoil her with a dress or two!” As for a stocking, Tori’s set on finding one adorned with a ladybug, since that’s Stella’s nickname!

It can be tough for new moms to lose weight after having a baby, but when Tori Spelling gave birth to daughter Stella on June 9, she had the added pressure of having to watch fellow celebrities snap right back into shape. “I would look at pictures of myself and compare them to Jessica Alba, who had her baby two days before me,” Tori, 35, tells In Touch. “I’d see photos of her two months after and go, ‘Look at her!’ ”

But rather than give up, Tori says she developed a healthier attitude, passing on fad diets and hot Hollywood trainers and enlisting the help of her husband of two-and-a-half years, Dean McDermott, their 19-month-old son, Liam, and Stella.

Together, they cook healthy meals and stay as active as possible. “The best way to lose weight is to make it a family affair,” she explains. “It has changed my life.”

“I’m embracing the fact that it’s a struggle for me to drop the pounds,” Tori reveals. “It’s easier now because I’m not as focused on it.”

Her advice to other moms trying to lose weight? “Take your time,” says Tori, with Stella. “If you get obsessed, you’ll miss out on great moments with your children.”

The housing crisis isn’t stopping Tori Spelling, 35, and Dean McDermott, 41, from moving on. “We’re about to put the house on the market,” Dean says of the five-bedroom, 3,300-square-foot LA mansion they bought for $2,275,000 earlier this year and are now selling for $2,395,000. “My son Jack is moving back to LA, so we’re short on room.” They’ll also need the extra space for an important addition. “Tori wants another baby,” an insider tells Life & Style. “They’re actively trying!”
