Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott welcomed their second child, a daughter, today, People has confirmed.

Stella Doreen McDermott was born in a Los Angeles hospital via C-section, weighing 6 lbs., 8 oz.

The couple also have a 1-year-old son, Liam Aaron. McDermott, 41, has a son, Jack, 9, from a previous marriage.

Spelling, 35, revealed she was expecting a girl in March.

“I’ve always wanted a little girl since I’m such a girly girly,” said Spelling, who had an emotional reaction when she found out. “I immediately started crying. I couldn’t believe it. I have my beautiful little boy and now I’ll have my little girl! It’s amazing.

The actress, who reconciled with her mom Candy after Liam was born, hopes to correct the mistakes of the past.

“Because my mother and I have always had a complicated relationship, I always wanted a girl to prove that the past doesn’t have to repeat itself,” she told People. “I can’t wait to be a great mom and friend to her.”

Spelling recently signed on for a recurring role on The CW’s 90210 as Donna Martin, the same character she played on her dad Aaron Spelling’s hit TV show Beverly Hills, 90201. She’s currently filming the third season of her reality show Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, premiering on Oxygen on June 17.

Tori Spelling is nervously preparing to give birth to her second child with husband Dean McDermott on Monday, June 9, at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles!

The 35-year-old actress was scheduled to bring her baby girl into the world via C-section at approximately 11 am/PT.

“Tori is bursting with excitement,” says an insider. “The doctors have told her to just relax in the hours leading up to her surgery, but she can’t sit still. She is decorating her room with pink sheets and pink flowers to make sure she welcomes her daughter into a warm environment.”

Tori and her husband of 2 years had their first child, Liam Aaron McDermott, on March 13, 2007 at Cedars-Sinai via emergency C-section.

“Dean, Liam and her mother Candy are all at the hospital supporting her,” the insider adds. “Dean may actually be more nervous than Tori. He’s pacing around the hospital anxiously watching the minutes go by.”

“This is a dream come true for Tori and Dean,” reveals a friend. “They were blessed with a son last year and will now have double the love and joy in their life with a new baby girl.”

Tori Spelling isn’t just returning to Beverly Hills, 90210 — she’s reprising her role as Donna Martin.

The pregnant actress will make guest appearances on the new show (airing this fall), the CW announced Tuesday.

A show rep tells Entertainment Tonight that Martin is now “the owner of one of the coolest stores in Beverly Hills, a shopping hot spot that is frequented by the new cast of characters.”

When asked about the show in April, the pregnant Spelling told Usmagazine.com, “In some way, every show that followed 90210 was a remake of 90210. For the fans’ sake, I am really happy for them.”

Spelling — whose late father Aaron created and produced the original series — will join former co-star Jennie Garth and former Full House star Lori Loughlin.
