What would a 90210 spinoff be without Brenda, Kelly and Donna?
Tori Spelling, who was rumored to have dropped out of resprising her role as Donna Martin due to a battle over money, says she still plans to appear on the show.
“I was supposed to be in the pilot and then I had Stella [daughter] when they went back into production so it didn’t work out, but I’m hoping [to return] later in the season,” she tells Extra in an interview set to air tonight.
Returning to West Beverly High will be just the latest accomplishment in the busy actress’s life. She recently hosted a blowout bash in Las Vegas at Christian Audigier’s nightclub, is getting ready to promote her second book and keeps audiences glued to the TV set with her reality show Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.
But the 35-year-old new mom says she keeps her priorities in check– raising her two children, Liam, 1, and baby Stella, 7 weeks, with husband Dean McDermott is always number one.
“Having two is so much better than having one,” she said. “Because I get to differentiate between a boy and a girl…At seven weeks, Stella already has a much different personality than Liam and just seeing them bond together is so amazing. It takes your life to a different level.”
Spelling says she definitely wants more kids—just not quite yet!
“We would like more…But I think we’ll take a break. Enjoy the ones we have now and enjoy each other and the family unit,” she says. “But in the future, it would be nice to have more.”
Tori says she’s really excited about her second book, Mommywood. “STori Telling was kind of stories about my life growing up and now it’s kids lives growing up, and me being a mom…Being in the craziness of Hollywood and dealing with that,” she says.

Jennie Garth is “disappointed” her former Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Tori Spelling won’t be a part of the TV show’s remake, and she’s upset by reports a salary feud was to blame for her pal’s decision to quit.
Garth, who reprises her role as Kelly Taylor on the revamped 90210, was looking forward to working with Spelling again and was upset to hear the actress, who was set to return as Donna Martin, had quit the project.
She tells EW.com she’s disappointed by online reports that Spelling dropped out of the new series after failing to land the payday Garth and Shannen Doherty were offered to reprise their characters from the original show.
Garth says, “The press thinks we’re at war over salary with Tori. I didn’t know I was at war with Tori. I’m really bummed because I love Tori and I was psyched Tori was going to be on the show. I think she should definitely get paid as much as either of us is getting paid. Her father created the show. It just seems wrong if that’s the case. I don’t know what really happened because I haven’t talked to her. I would like to talk to her. I’ll try to butt my head in whenever I can and tell people what I think about it.”
Spelling reportedly quit the new show after she discovered Garth and Doherty had been offered double her salary.
But Doherty disputes the figures: “They didn’t even get the numbers right, so I don’t know if it’s about the money either.”

The question is whether this is a really smart or really stupid decision by The CW’s boss Dawn Ostroff. A contract controversy is preventing Tori Spelling from joining that so-called “edgy, contemporary spin-off” of the ’90s hit 90210 on the network this fall as planned. Insiders say that Tori was hired to reprise her role as fashion boutique owner Donna Martin for just “$10,000-$20,000″ per episode. But then Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty were signed for “$35,000-$50,000″ a show. When Tori found out her former co-stars were getting paid way more than she was, she got pissed and demanded equal pay. But the network suits have refused. So now sources say that Tori has pulled out of the series, which premieres with a 2-hour special on September 2nd. “She thought she deserved parity, and she’s got a point,” an insider said.
That’s because, for some bizarre reason, Tori is a reality show ratings hit by Oxygen’s low standards. (Last Tuesday’s Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood was the most watched telecast in the history of that execrable women’s cable channel as 1.4 million viewers saw the episode where Tori gave birth to her 2nd child — which actually took place 5 months ago.) And Spelling wrote a bestselling book besides.
As for Tori, she has told the media only that the timing didn’t work out for her to appear in the 90210 pilot because she was giving birth. “So we’ll see what happens later in the season,” she said last week on CBS’ The Early Show. One insider said it wouldn’t be surprising if Tori and the show eventually agree to bring her onto 90210 as a November sweeps stunt.
