Hugh Jackman wants to pass the Wolverine role onto Tom Hardy. Jackman has played the role for fifteen years and while he never thought about getting replaced, he thinks Hardy would be a great fit.
“I haven’t really given it a lot of thought,” Jackman tells MTV of his replacement. “I’ve been asked that question a lot, and I’m always like, ‘I don’t wanna make it too easy on the studio to replace me,’ you know? I’ve still got one more to do. I’m sure they’re already talking about it, and there’s some actor [they’ve told] ‘shh, keep it quiet but we want you next.'”
While Jackman is keeping the studios next choice on the down low, he didn’t mind sharing his personal pick to don the adamantium.
“He’s younger than me for sure,” Jackman says. “I think Tom Hardy would be a great Wolverine.”

On Sunday, Tom Hardy schooled some reporter who awkwardly asked about his sexuality during a press junket for his upcoming film Legend!
It all went down during the Toronto International Film Festival, when a journalist from LGBT news outlet Daily Xtra asked Hardy if he thought it was “hard for celebrities” to publicly talk about their sexualities. And Tom shut it down HARD. In a SECOND interview, Tom said he believes that “everybody is entitled to the right to privacy” — celebrity or not!
“I’m under no obligation to share anything to do with my family, my children, my sexuality — that’s nobody’s business but my own. And I don’t see how that can have anything to do with what I do as an actor, and it’s my own business.”
The Brit admitted he felt put on the spot mostly because the question talking about HIS sexuality.
“It’s important destigmatizing sexuality and gender inequality in the workplace, but to put a man on the spot in a room full of people designed purely for a salacious reaction? To be quite frank, it’s rude.”
While the Mad Max: Fury Road star believes that the topic of sexuality would have been an interesting discussion, he says the way the reporter handled the question was “counterproductive to what he stands for!” He added:
“If you felt it was so important for people to feel confident to talk about their sexuality, why would you put somebody on the spot in a room full of people and decide that was the time for them to open up about their sexual ambiguity?”
He was doing press for his movie, not giving everybody a personal presentation about his sex life. Still, that’s kinda what you signed up for, dude.
Do YOU think Tom was right to handle it this way??

In news that will literally shock NOBODY, Tom Hardy wants to throw his hat in the ring to be the next James BOND. Shocked?
Obvi, no. The star was out and about promoting his new film Legend and hinted at wanting the role in an interview with Esquire magazine earlier this month.
Many British names are being linked to the role, including Idris Elba (WHO IS BLACK?! OMG. and Hardy. Bond novelist Anthony Horowitz had to issue an apology last week after saying Elba was “too street” for the role, because people are gross and old and very racist. Anyhow, in case you don’t want to talk about race in the media- how about focusing on Tom Hardy and HIS need to play 007? Maybe? Eh.
While Hardy gave little away about whether he has been approached about the part, he said: “I think anybody would consider doing Bond, wouldn’t they?”
Sure, Tom. But especially YOU.
Would you watch Tom Hardy bond it up? Be real. Comment below.
