Katie Holmes’ troubled ‘The Kennedy’s’ is finally seeing the light of day, as it premiered in Beverly Hills last night.

The troubled mini-series was originally dropped by The History Channel, and ultimately picked up by Reelz Channel. The network through the cast a debut party last night in Beverly Hills.

We’ve all watched little Suri Cruise grow up, literally.

Now that she’s no longer a baby, Katie Holmes‘ Midwestern parents decide to speak up.

After seeing a tired Suri out for 1 a.m. dinners, playing with penis-shaped candies and still being allowed to use a pacifier, Martin and Kathleen Holmes, “are really upset,” an insider tells Life & Style, with the lack of boundaries Tom and Katie are setting for their little daughter. “They’re very worried that Tom isn’t letting Suri enjoy the childhood she deserves because of his Scientology beliefs.”

The practice has already taken a toll on poor Suri, says a second insider. “She often throws temper tantrums when she’s out with Katie and Tom,” the insider says. An eyewitness tells Life & Style that during a late-night trip to Serendipity in NYC on March 15, Katie and a nanny couldn’t get Suri into her car seat. “As always, Suri won and didn’t have to sit in her car seat,” says the witness.

While experts disagree about many aspects of child-rearing, they’re unanimous on one thing: Parents should never give in to a child when it comes to car seats. According to New York state law, children Suri’s age must use a booster seat at minimum.

“Kids are not little adults,” child psychologist Vicki Panaccione tells Life & Style. “Their reasoning abilities, nervous systems, decision-making processes and moral judgment are just not up to adult development.”

Is it the Hollywood lifestyle? Or Scientology? Or both?

Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner were spotted today filming ‘Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol’ in Vancouver, BC.

According to a blog post, a band called By Starlight was playing in Vancouver and abruptly stopped due to a conflict with the shooting of Mission Impossible 4. “The PA offered the band $500 to stop playing because it was interfering with filming. The band took the money and everyone went home,” the blogger alleged.

However, according to the venue’s manager, Jeff Cawston, “There was no issue whatsoever. The bands were made very much aware of the situation when they booked the venue. The story is not true. The bands played until one o’clock in the morning and everything was good.”

Nicole Kidman says that she misses her two adopted children, Isabella and Connor Cruise, but that they chose to live with her ex-husband Tom and wife Katie Holmes.

She said, “They live with Tom, which was their choice.” A choice that, I’m sure, bums her out. The kids haven’t been in any photos with the actress since 2007, but one day, she hopes to spend more time with them.

She said, “I’d love them to live with us, but what can you do?”

Still, she’s proud of how her ex-husband has raised them. She added, “They are healthy and sane and together and are great, great people. So I’m not one of those people that needs to be reminded of what I have.”

Tom Cruise returned to the set of MI4 in Vancouver, BC today. He’s looking hot! It’s been a while since I thought he was hot!

Director Adam Shankman confirms Tom Cruise is in talks to join movie adaptation of Rock of Ages, a musical set on the Sunset Strip that uses the tunes of ’80s hair bands.

“It’s all looking really good,” Shankman told E! at Trevor LIVE fundraiser for the Trevor Project.

As much as you might imagine that it was that Risky Business underpants dance that suggested Cruise’s rock star credentials, Shankman said it was Les Grossman who started the talk.

“I was really inspired and impressed by him as Les Grossman,” he said, “and his willingness to go for it.

“He and I had talked about doing a musical, so I thought I’d talk to him about Rock of Ages.”

And, yes, Cruise will sing. “Of course, he will,’ Shankman said. “If he’s in it, he has to.”
