Bun. Not yet in the oven.

katie_holmes_tom_cruise_suri.jpg

Sources from the set of Zenu-bot’s new movie in Berlin says the couple are keen on having another baby, right away. Quick like a bunny, even. “It’s something they want to do sooner rather than later. Suri has been such a joy for Tom, so he’d be more than happy to have another girl. Katie feels the same.”

Does Katie really ‘feel’ anything anymore? Does she even have her own thoughts? That last bit about ‘Katie feels the same’ just seems tacked on and insincere. Sure glad motherhood’s been such a joy for Tom, the guy whose been either promoting or filming movies for the last 2 years.

Don’t get me wrong, she seems like a sweet girl, but she rarely, if ever, speaks for herself in the press. It’s weird.

Suri sure is a cutie though.

Tom and Katie in separate bedrooms!

katie-holmes-dinner-berlin-tom-cruise.jpg

Tom Cruise and wife Katie Holmes are reported to sleep in separate bedrooms, so she doesn’t have to suffer his snoring.

A source told US magazine, Star: “It’s a situation that works for both of them”.

“In fact, they even joke about having separate bedrooms to their friends – Katie says Tom snores, and this way she can get her beauty sleep!”

“Of course they spend time together alone at night like most married couples; after all, they conceived Suri!”

Apparently, the couple have had the same setup since the very beginning of their relationship, when Holmes moved into their first home – Cruise’s rented Beverly Hills estate – in the spring of 2005 after a whirlwind courtship.

The source added: “At first, it was because Katie was Catholic and single, and they were only dating. It was the proper thing to do.”

“Now that they are married, they don’t feel the need to alter the arrangement. Tom has his master bedroom, and Katie has hers.”

Another source claimed: “When Katie moved into the house, it was made clear that Tom occupied the north wing of the second floor and that she would occupy a cluster of suites on the south wing of the same floor.

“Katie wanted to make herself feel at home, and she insisted on remodeling her area, which consisted of a study, parlor and large bedroom suite.

“Over the course of several months, Katie created a larger space to have as her own. In the end, she designed the room of her dreams, a very feminine room painted in pastel colors, with a small carousel and filled with many stuffed animals.”

Cruise bought their new home, a $35 million Beverly Hills mansion in May. Built in 1937 the 1.3 acre property boasts seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

Sources say it is being remodelled according to Katie’s tastes – and the sleeping arrangements are most likely to stay just as they are.

A friend added: “It’s a perfect fit, and Katie is fine with it.”

Tom & Katie gettin down & dirty!

tomkatdirtydance.jpg

Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and their pals had few inhibitions at the July 22 “Welcome to America” party the couple threw for Victoria and David Beckham in L.A.

As guests like Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, Eva Longoria and Brooke Shields mingled, Jim Carrey pretended to spank girlfriend Jenny McCarthy as they boogied—and Will Smith rapped and did splits on the dance floor.

“I can’t believe Will can move like that!” marveled Carrey. But, as Us Weekly reports in its new issue, the real showstopper came when the DJ played “Old Time Rock & Roll,” prompting Cruise to re-enact his famous scene from Risky Business. At one point, he got on his back and kicked his legs in the air, just like in the movie!

First Look at Tom Cruise in ‘Valkyrie’

valkyrie2.jpg

United Artists released our first look at Tom Cruise in the upcoming Bryan Singer directed Valkyrie in which Cruise stars as Col. Claus von Stauffenberg, the aristocratic German officer who led the daring ‘July 20′ plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler in 1944.

Here are two images of Cruise, the first being a comparison of Stauffenberg (left) to Cruise and the second being a full color look at the actor in his German garb.

Valkyrie is set to hit theaters August 8, 2008 and just began principal photography today in Berlin. Along with Cruise the film stars Kenneth Branagh, Bill Nighy, Tom Wilkinson, Eddie Izzard, Christian Berkel, Thomas Kretschmann, and Carice van Houten.

The “July 20 Plot” on Hitler’s life is one of the most heroic but least known episodes of World War Two. Severely wounded in combat, Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg returns from Africa to join the German Resistance and help create Operation Valkyrie, the complex plan that will allow a shadow government to replace Hitler’s once he is dead. But fate and circumstance conspire to thrust Stauffenberg from one of many in the plot to a double-edged central role. Not only must he lead the coup and seize control of his nation’s government … He must kill Hitler himself.

“Valkyrie tells a story that is not only exciting but also important,” said Singer. “It’s something that Chris McQuarrie and I have wanted to do for some time. I can’t imagine shooting it anywhere else but on location in Germany, and I’m thrilled that we were able to get Tom Cruise to play Col. Stauffenberg.”

“Valkyrie is a gripping thriller that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats — and also go a long way towards reminding the world that even within the ranks of the German military there was real resistance to the Nazi regime,” said United Artists Chief Executive Officer Paula Wagner. “As soon as we read the screenplay, we knew this was a movie we had to make.”

Germany bans Tom Cruise from filming movie.

main.jpg

Germany has barred the makers of a movie about a plot to kill Adolf Hitler from filming at German military sites because its star Tom Cruise is a Scientologist, the Defense Ministry said on Monday.

Cruise, also one of the film’s producers, is a member of the Church of Scientology which the German government does not recognize as a church. Berlin says it masquerades as a religion to make money, a charge Scientology leaders reject.

The U.S. actor has been cast as Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, leader of the unsuccessful attempt to assassinate the Nazi dictator in July 1944 with a bomb hidden in a briefcase.

Defense Ministry spokesman Harald Kammerbauer said the film makers “will not be allowed to film at German military sites if Count Stauffenberg is played by Tom Cruise, who has publicly professed to being a member of the Scientology cult”.

“In general, the Bundeswehr (German military) has a special interest in the serious and authentic portrayal of the events of July 20, 1944 and Stauffenberg’s person,” Kammerbauer said.

Cruise’s publicists could not be reached for comment.

Stauffenberg had been deeply opposed to the Nazis’ treatment of the Jews and planted a briefcase bomb under a table near Hitler in his “Wolf’s Lair” headquarters on July 20, 1944. The bomb went off but only wounded the Fuehrer.

The film, slated for a 2008 release and to be directed by Bryan Singer and co-starring Kenneth Branagh, is called “Valkyrie” after Operation Valkyrie, the plot’s codename.

The main site of interest would be the “Bendlerblock” memorial inside the Defense Ministry complex in Berlin. This is where Stauffenberg and his co-conspirators hatched the plot and where he and his closest comrades were executed when it failed.

Kammerbauer said the ministry had not yet received official filming requests from the producers of “Valkyrie”.
