Woah, I’m not even sure what is happening here, but it’s sad as HELL.
After a surprise shooting in the middle of a T.I. concert, the shooter has been found. He’s also a rapper by the name of Troy Ave, and injured himself along with four others during the concert, and sadly, someone got killed. Not exactly what you’d expect from a T.I. concert; it’s pretty shady, and sounds exceptionally chaotic. People reports:
The rapper, whose birth name is Roland Collins, shot himself in the leg during a struggle at the club, said NYPD officials. A 34-year-old man was shot in the chest and taken to Bellevue Hospital to recover and a 26-year-old woman was shot in the leg and is in stable condition at Beth Israel Hospital.
Ronald (Edgar) McPhatter, 33, was shot in the stomach and was also taken to Beth Israel, but was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The gunman and the victims were given access to the VIP/green room area, according to ABC7 New York.
Detectives are waiting for ballistics evidence to come back to see if he’ll face additional charges. Police are unsure if there was more than one shooter.
On Thursday, NYPD released video footage from the venue that shows Troy Ave firing a gun inside the third-floor green room.
The 33-year-old artist has been charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon, NYPD tweeted along with the video.
Let’s hope we get the story as to why this guy shot up the room, and what’s going to happen to him. So sad!

It looks like T.I. is changing his tune about his relationship with Iggy Azalea!
Earlier this week, the rapper revealed in a radio interview that his business relationship Iggy has ended-prompting speculation about what went down and how they’re going to move forward.
Now, the 34-year-old is going back on his recent comments, insisting that the two ARE still collaborating and that everyone should just CHILLLLLL. He explained:
“That’s still my partner. Her life has taken her in a different direction. My life is still as it was before. But Iggy is doing what she feels makes Iggy happy. That’s what she should do. We’re focused on making the next Iggy record and dodging the same adversities we faced last time.”
T.I. went on to clarify that his earlier comments were more about Iggy taking a break on music to focus on her wedding with fiancé Nick Young! He said:
“It’s definitely not a ‘sever my ties, walk away, I’m upset’ thing. It was more so like, ‘Okay, you have a lot on your plate right now. I’m going to pull back or wait until you come to a place where you’re ready to come back to the table, so we can start again and make history some more.'”
As far as the miscommunication between the two rappers, T.I. said:
“We speak to each other without having to speak to each other. It’s funny sometimes, but we’re straight.”
Hmmmm….not sure I believe things are all good between the two! What do you think the status of their relationship is?

Aw, this is the end of an era.
T.I. has cut ties with Iggy Azalea after mentoring her and standing up for her time and time again.
T.I. went on Ebro in the Morning on NYC’s Hot 97, and said there were no hard feelings but their business relationship was over. He even stood up for her one last time, saying … “She had a lot thrown at her at one time. It’s very difficult to be the new kid and to be the butt of the jokes.”
T.I. had been managing Iggy’s music career for years, but in the last year has seemed more like a bodyguard, defending the rapper when she was beefin with, oh I dunno, Snoop Dogg, Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj, Eminem, and of course my favorite ridiculous feud, Azealia Banks.
Sounds like a relief- now T.I. can concentrate on his new career…as Tip?

Only two weeks after T.I. had to return to jail for an 11 month sentence, his spouse Tameka “Tiny” Cottle has been charge with ecstasy possession.
The couple were arrested for possession of a controlled substance back in September when a West Hollywood police thought he smelled marijuana coming from their car.
Tameka and T.I. were released later that morning on $10,000 bail.
Unfortunately for T.I. at the time of the arrest he was on probation. He was later charged with possession of ecstasy, testing positive for opiates and associating with a convicted felon.
Cottle, if convicted, could serve up to one year in jail.
