Chris Harrison Talks About His OWN Dating Life!

2014 Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour - Disney/ABC Television Group

Chris Harrison has a lot to say about people’s love lives, especially his own!

The Bachelor host spilled his guts to GQ for their January issue, and some of the stuff was downright juicy. Here’s a snippet:

On having Chris’ ex, Gwen, as the next Bachelorette: “It would be epic television, good or bad. It could be like the Hindenberg – the greatest disaster ever – but even that would be great TV.”

On dating post-divorce: “there was this knee-jerk reaction to get back in the action and date,” he revealed. “I think there’s something wrong with that. I’m incredibly, stunningly, happy. What gave me angst was relationships.”

On what The Bachelor taught him about relationships: “I do think we have helped evolve the modern man, to teach him how a woman wants to be treated,” he explained. “I think we have helped men and women kind of get to know each other and break down that wall where we never used to communicate. Things that needed to be said and no one ever really wanted to talk about. Guys want to talk about feelings, too, sometimes. Guys want to be reassured, too,” Harrison added. “Even the manliest of men.”

Well said! The Bachelor‘s two-hour premiere kicks off today. You gonna watch?!

Juan Pablo Galavis “loves” Nikki Ferrell now.

Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis and his final pick Nikki Ferrell are still together, and apparently he loves her now!

Juan Pablo shared the picture above on his Instagram page, showing her at work.

The picture, taken from behind the 26-year-old Ferrell, shows her at work at the Children’s Mercy Hospital and Clinics where she’s a pediatric nurse. Her shirt reads “Pediatrics… our patients are cuter than your patients.”

Juan Pablo, 32, wrote, “Mi Catira @nikki_ferrell LOVES her JOB and thats ONE of the things I LOVE about her…#NikkiTheNurse.”

The Bachelor’s post comes just days after Us Weekly reported that Galavis had finally uttered the three little magic words to Ferrell. He had previously refused to declare his love on the After the Final Rose Special last month.

Galavis “has told her, ‘I love you,'” an insider told Us. “They Skype and text every day and are in constant contact,” the source added of the Miami-based sports consultant and Ferrell, who lives in Kansas City, Missouri.

Be honest, you didn’t think they’d even make it this long!

The worst Bachelor season in history is finally over, after incredibly awkward finale.

Was this not the worst season of The Bachelor – or what!? I have to admit, I watched about 80% of this season. I fast-forwarded so much of it, you could barely say I watched it…. but I did make it to the finale. You know it’s not a good sign when not one – but two – women leave early because of what a douche Juan Pablo Galavis is. He’s an offensive, bigot and sexist man, and at the end everyone (including Chris Harrison) couldn’t wait to be done with him.

In the finale, Juan Pablo narrowed it down to two women, Clare Crawley and Nikki Ferrell. After whispering an offensive comment to Clare in a helicopter, Clare had decided to leave…. but Juan convinced her to stay, and told her it was worth it. “What I thought was going to be sweet, kind, loving words was not what came out of his mouth. And I was shocked. He chose to tell me something that no woman wants to hear. … It was insulting. It was offensive and it just made me feel awful.”

In the end he chose Nikki over Clare, and Clare didn’t go down without a fight. “I saved this moment for the man of my dreams and I thought that was you. What you just made me go through – I would never want my children having a father like you.” During the After the Rose Ceremony, we learn that Clare still isn’t over being burned, but in my opinion, she should be glad she’s free of such a douchebag.

In the end Juan chose Nikki, but didn’t propose. He didn’t even tell her that he loved her. He said he liked her…. a lot. “I’m not going to give [the ring] to you. I’m not 100 percent sure I want to propose to you. But at the same time I’m 100 percent sure that I don’t want to let you go. I like you a lot. A lot.”

During the After the Rose Ceremony, Juan Pablo still wouldn’t tell Nikki that he loved her, and I’m sure by time they left the building, they were broken up. It seemed very obvious that they were only together for this reunion. There’s no way they’re going to make it as a couple. No way in hell.

At the end of the show last night, they officially announced that Andi Dorfman would be the next Bachelorette. Most people seem pretty excited about that – what do you think? Will you watch?

‘Bachelor’ Juan Pablo says gay people don’t belong on TV

It’s Bachelor time again! I don’t know why I watch this show – it is BEYOND BAD. I don’t ever watch The Bachelorette, because it seems so much worse to me. At least with the Bachelor I get to watch some serious girl-on-girl drama, which is the epitome of good reality TV, right? Anyway, I’ve been watching the latest season, and this year’s Bachelor is Don Juan Pablo Galavis. He’s a Venezuelan single father of a 4-year-old girl. He used to be a professional soccer player. Anyhoo, Juan Pablo is out doing some interviews promoting the new season, and he’s found himself in hot water over his comments on homosexuality.

TV ‘Bachelor’ Juan Pablo Galavis is having a DUCK DYNASTY moment. The former Venezuelan soccer star said Friday night that he would be 100 percent opposed to having a cycle of the reality dating show feature an openly gay or bisexual bachelor.

“I don’t think it is a good example for kids to watch that on TV,” he told me while promoting the show at a network party in Pasadena, Calif.

“Obviously people have their husband and wife and kids and that is how we are brought up. Now there is fathers having kids and all that, and it is hard for me to understand that too in the sense of a household having peoples… Two parents sleeping in the same bed and the kid going into bed… It is confusing in a sense. But I respect them because they want to have kids. They want to be parents. So it is a scale… Where do you put it on the scale? Where is the thin line to cross or not? You have to respect everybody’s desires and way of living. But it would be too hard for TV.”

“I have a lot of friends like that, but they’re more pervert in a sense. To me, the show would be too strong, too hard to watch on TV.”
