Desperate Housewife Teri Hatcher is being sued! A suit was filed against the star in Los Angeles today by a cosmetics company named Hydroderm. The suit is on a basis that there was a breach of contract.

According to a spokesperson, Teri was the endorser of some of the companies cosmetics and anti aging skin care since 2005. The company has a right to use her image, likeliness, voice, signature, video of the actress, etc. in order to sell and promote their cosmetics line and Terri would not use the same in order to promote any of their competitors. However, Teri was seen promoting a lip-plumper by City Cosmetics, a direct competitor to Hydroderm, in which resulted in a  breached of her contract with Hydroderm.

The cosmetics company, is suing Hatcher for $2.8 million dollars!

Well, sorta.

Unlike her on-screen alter ego Susan Mayer, “Desperate Housewife” Teri Hatcher has yet to find her true love. Teri has been married twice before, first to Marcus Leithold (1988 – 1989) and also to the father of her daughter, Emerson, John Tenney (1994-2003).

In this NY Times Magazine photo shoot, the actress marries 8 times. Among her grooms? A model, an old man and a woman.

Have Teri Hatcher and her most recent guy, director Stephen Kaye, called it quits?

It sure sounded like it when Planet Gossip caught up with Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry on Saturday night. He was at the Beverly Wilshire hotel during the 50th anniversary gala for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center’s Women’s Guild.

Cherry let it slip when discussing how he would handle another of his stars getting pregnant (Marcia Cross had twins earlier this year). “Well, Eva [Longoria] and Tony [Parker] want kids at some point, but I don’t think it’s going to happen soon,” Cherry said. “Felicity [Huffman] is done…I don’t think Nicollette [Sheridan] wants to have kids.”

As for Hatcher, he simply said, “Teri’s not with a guy right now.”

And that might be a good thing, because Cherry said, “I’ve forbidden anybody from procreating for the next three years.

“That was in my toast at Eva’s wedding,” he said. “It was like, ‘Congratulations, and no babies until 2010!’ ”

Just when you thought there couldn’t be more drama on Desperate Housewives comes word that Teri Hatcher was reportedly a spotlight hog at Eva Longoria’s wedding over the weekend.

The ladies of Wisteria Lane traveled to Paris to watch Longoria exchange vows with San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker at the majestic St. Germain l’ L’Auxerrois church (except for castmate Marcia Cross, who remained stateside with her twins).

But Hatcher, 42, rankled her costars when she used the ceremony as a photo op.

“A private walkway was set up so that as the celebrities exited the bus from the hotel, they could sneak through the fans and paparazzi,” one guest tells the New York Daily News’ Gatecrasher. “Felicity [Huffman] and Nicollette [Sheridan] walked into the church hand in hand, but Teri took her daughter and walked around into the public area to pose for photos and wave to fans for 10 minutes.”

Says the witness: “It was so strange! Everyone else was so excited to be going into the church for the wedding, and all of a sudden, Teri broke away from the group to make sure she was seen and photographed.”

Hatcher also committed a wedding faux pas commissioning a dress from Badgley Mischka that was very similar to the bridesmaids’ dresses, which were by the same designers.

Meanwhile, the single mom is reportedly the odd one out on the set as well.

“All the other girls are very close friends and hang out in each others’ trailers and even at their homes,” says an on-set source. “But Teri never joins in the fun and chat sessions and often runs late for scenes, and causes awkwardness on set.”
