Just a couple of days ago, Teri Hatcher took to her Facebook to discuss her Botox-free look. She showed her wrinkles and told women that they could be beautiful without it. Now, she’s backtracking on those comments with her plans to go under the needle again.

Us Weekly reports:

“I can’t believe I actually put that out there!” she admitted Thursday to Entertainment Tonight.

But, to be clear, she explained, “It’s not about Botox to me…I don’t have any judgement about doing Botox…I’ve done Botox, I may do it again — I don’t know. It’s not the point.”

The real mission of her “Does This Look Botoxed to You?” pics? “There has to be a different sort of baseline of how we’re accepting beauty,” the single mother of one said.

“I wanted women in America, not in Hollywood, to know is that so much of the manipulation of going from the real Teri Hatcher to the Teri Hatcher that’s on an advertising poster or an endorsement — that a lot of that happens through lighting,” she continued.

I think she should leave her face alone. If her original intent was to tell people that her beauty should be appreciated on its own merit, then backtracking just takes her two steps backward.

Turning 45 and desperate to mark the milestone, Teri Hatcher put her pedal to the metal and reached her goal – completing the grueling Malibu Triathlon in a respectable 2 hours, 11 minutes.

“I wasn’t panicked about [turning 45] – it just seemed like a milestone,” the Desperate Housewives star tells Prevention magazine for its February issue. “The older you get, the more you become aware of the things you can’t change and the things you can change.”

While not exactly sporting Michelle Obama biceps yet, Hatcher is still grooving on her new strong-armed look. “Just the other day on the set, Marcia [Cross] looked at me and said, ‘It’s great that you’re so strong now,’ ” said Hatcher. “I like my arms.”

Her routine includes a heart-pounding 10-minute workout of 20 lunges, squats, bicep curls, shoulder presses, push ups and chair dips, followed by a Pilates session.

After training for the triathlon daily with 50-mile bike rides, back-and-forth swimming in her backyard pool and lifting free weights, Hatcher didn’t give a fig about her competition when the race started. “I wasn’t really in a race against anything but my own will: Would I make it without stopping, without walking, without stopping to pee: My goal was not to do any of those things, and I didn’t!”

Now on track to keep her naturally lithe shape strong, she nixes counting calories. “I’ve never been a dieter. I put blueberries in oatmeal, but I also put brown sugar in.”

Swine Flu has spread to Wisteria Lane! Desperate Housewives is on swine flu alert after star Teri Hatcher informed the show this morning that she was diagnosed with the fastly-spreading H1N1 virus.

The timing couldn’t be worse as the top-rated ABC series is plotting out their big neighborhood Christmas party stunt, which will feature the entire cast congregating as a small commuter plane crashes their festivities, taking lives. Already, scenes with all the women have had to be rescheduled while Hatcher recovers.
