Kanye West ruined Taylor Swift’s big moment at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards.
As the 19-year-old singer accepted the Best Female Video award for “You Belong With Me,” the rapper, 32 — who had been drinking Hennessy on the red carpet — appeared on stage and stated that Beyonce should have won for “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).”
“Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, and I’m going to let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time,” he shouted. “One of the best videos of all time!”
The cameras panned to Beyonce, who looked stunned as well.
The crowed then booed West off stage and the show immediately cut to commercial.
After the break, host Russell Brand praised both performers.
“What we’re celebrating tonight is love!” he said. “Mutual love for everybody. Taylor Swift. Beyonce… Love for all of you!”
Later in the show, when Diddy introduced the nominees for Best Male Video, he mentioned West’s name and the crowd booed.
Diddy looked stunned. “What happened?” he asked. “What did I say?”
“Taylor!” fans then chanted.
At the end of the show, Beyonce let Swift have her moment when Beyonce won Video of the Year. She got on stage and asked Swift to join her. “I remember being 17-years old, up for my first MTV award for Destiny’s Child and it was one of the most exciting moments of my life,” she began. “So I would like for Taylor to come out and have her moment.”
Swift walked on stage and smiled as the crowd cheered.
“Maybe we could try this again?” Swift said, before thanking her brother and fans.
The crowd continued to cheer.

PCN

With the MTV Video Music Awards coming up Sept. 13, Taylor Swift, who’s set to perform for the first time at this year’s bash in New York City, is looking for fashion inspirations.
“I think with the VMAs it’s all about color and being risky,” Swift says in an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the country starlet’s West Side Story-themed VMA promo, which will start airing on MTV on Friday night.
Whose style standard is she following?
“I think Rihanna has always been amazing at the VMAs,” she says. “Everything that she’s decided to do as far as fashion on the red carpet, she takes chances.”
Swift, 19, knows what she’s performing at the show – a fresh version of her song “You Belong With Me” from her hit album Fearless – but her outfits are another story.
“I actually have no idea what I’m going to wear for my performance,” she says, “or the red carpet so I better get on that.”

A film with a cast already overflowing with talent saw cameos by stars Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift on July 30, 2009 in Los Angeles, California. Both tween idols enjoyed each other’s company on set, flirting and laughing until director Gary Marshall interrupted them. The newly added actors are playing athletes for the fictional Henderson High School track and field team and Lautner took the opportunity to flaunt his athletic prowess and well-built frame, sprinting, jumping hurdles and doing the high jump while the less sports-inclined Swift did some mild stretching.

Fame

Taylor Swift has proven why she’s a great friend: The country singer, who is currently on tour, sent pal Selena Gomez a gigantic flower arrangement to celebrate her 17th birthday Wednesday.
“Taylor contacted Disney Channel to make sure she could send it to the studio,” says a Disney Channel spokesperson. “It was so big, two men had to carry it to the car!”
The Wizards of Waverly Place star also received homemade cards from fans and even a custom apron that reads “I Love Texas” – a shout-out to Gomez’s home state.
“All of my fans bought me so many gifts and just made me realize how blessed I am,” a teary Gomez said in a new YouTube video she posted for her fans. “Thank you guys so much for making this an amazing year … You’ve made this the best birthday yet.”
There’s more to celebrate for the young actress: Following Friday’s episode of her Emmy-nominated Wizards, Gomez will debut her music video for her cover of the 1975 classic “Magic” off the soundtrack for the upcoming Wizards of Waverly Place movie.
