Emma Watson Is Part Of The Taylor-Mades

Screen Shot 2015-06-29 at 8.27.36 AM

That’s right- I’m coining Taylor Swift‘s posse of highly successful young women the Taylor-mades, because Taylor is del facto den mom to these powerhouses. And…she has a new recruit!

The A list Millennial gal pals were joined by  Harry Potter alum and feminist activist Emma Watson for a fun group photo where everyone looked stylish and excited!

In the cute group shot posted by British singer Lauren Aquilina, the “Blank Space” singer, 25, posed with her arm around the He For She advocate, also 25.

“Spent tonight surrounded by badass girls and couldn’t be happier about it,” Aquilina captioned the photo with models Martha Hunt, Karlie Kloss, Watson, Swift, and singer Sydney Sierota.

Do you think Emma’s a good fit for the Taylor-Mades? I DO.

Sorry Swifties, Taylor Swift Will NOT Be Performing At The Superbowl

2015 Billboard Music Awards

Swifties- that’s the right word for Taylor Swift‘s fans, right? In any case, they aren’t going to like this news.

Rumor had it that Taylor would sing at the big game this year, but a source tells Access Hollywood it’s “not happening,”…because of soda?

The reason Taylor won’t be performing at Santa Clara’s Levi’s Stadium is because her existing deal with Diet Coke and the Super Bowl is sponsored by Pepsi. Sorry, Tay- that’s a no go.  (note: Taylor Swift LOVES her some Diet Coke, so maybe brand loyalty played a part in this endorsement deal?.

Britney Spears is rumored to be a contender for the 2016 Halftime Show, which seems like a good fit (remember when she was in all those Pepsi commercials in the 90’s)? She would be joining halftime alums Katy Perry (2015), Bruno Mars (2014), Beyonce (2013), Madonna (2012) and The Black Eyed Peas (2011).

Who do you want to see as the halftime show entertainment at this year’s superbowl?

Does Taylor Swift Want Kids?

2015 Billboard Music Awards

Do you think Calvin Harris has anything to do with this?!

Way back when in 2014 (you know, forever ago) Taylor Swift told InStyle that she wasn’t quite sure about having kids…did something change?!

Perhaps! The 25-year-old admitted to ITV News that she hopes to have a family within the next 10 years. Having kids is an especially difficult consideration when you’re one of the most famous people around, which is why Taylor really admired what Angelina Jolie did with her large brood.

PerezHilton reports that Tay admires the 40-year-old’s ability to live:

“…her life not just for the purpose of making money or coming up with the most lucrative business deals.”

Angelina’s ability to give back to the world and be a humanitarian IS very admirable…

Balancing motherhood and work is hard, Tay, but I think we can confidently say that if anyone can do it, YOU can.

Don’t Mess With Taylor Swift. EVER.

Taylor Swift Shows Off Her Legs In New York

Taylor Swift 1, music industry 0.

That’s right- not only do you wanna be pals with Tay, you wanna make sure that you NEVER DISAGREE WITH HER POLITICS.  Right, Apple?

The music titan has decided to change their policies and pay labels for the right to stream their music during their new, free-to-members 90 day trial.  The move comes after Taylor Swift blogged about how bogus this policy was (and I agree, it is!).

In a tweet, senior VP of internet services and software Eddy Cue wrote that Apple would pay artists during the 90-day period.

will pay artist for streaming, even during customer’s free trial period

And Taylor spoke. And it was done.

In an interview with Billboard, Cue elaborated on how Taylor’s passion (and by passion he means MASSIVE popularity) turned him around on the issue:

“When I woke up this morning and saw what Taylor had written, it really solidified that we needed a change. And so that’s why we decide we will now pay artists during the trial period.”

“I am elated and relieved,” Swift tweeted an hour after Cue’s announcement. “Thank you for your words of support today. They listened to us.”

Cue backpedaled by saying that Apple had heard the same “concern from a lot of artists,” noting that it was “never our intent” to not compensate artists, rather they were planning to originally negotiate a higher royalty rate, which I guess they are still going to do. Well, sounds pretty convenient, Cue.

What do YOU think about this move on Apple’s part?
