Joe Jonas appears to be more than just friends with country singer Taylor Swift. At the very least, he’s a devoted fan.

Joe, 19, attended Swift’s concert at the Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Fla., Sunday night, E! News has learned exclusively. Swift, 18, was the opening act for Rascal Flatts.

“He arrived about five minutes before the show started and stood next to the soundboard,” says Mishelle Rivera, assistant promotions director at Miami’s Y100 radio station, who watched the concert just a few feet from the middle Jonas.

“He was wearing a Yankees baseball hat and trying no to be noticed. He was really into the show. You could tell he was really focused on her.”

Rivera says that Joe rarely took his eyes off Swift during the entire hourlong set and that he immediately went backstage to see Swift following the show.

Joe took time off from his busy touring schedule to make the show. He played a concert with his brothers in Holmdel, N.J., Saturday night and tonight will play at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, Va.

Swift, who earlier in the week shot scenes with the Jonas boys in NYC for their new movie, mentioned Joe in her most recent blog: “I’ve had an awesome week, I’ve been in NYC shooting for the Jonas Brothers 3D movie. It’s been so much fun! We stayed right across from Central Park and I could see the whole city every time I looked out my window.”

Ryan Seacrest asked Joe Aug. 5 on his KIIS-FM show if Joe and Taylor were together, to which he replied, “I think anyone would like to go on a date with her.”

Taylor Swift is one busy girl. Besides a booming music career and a part in the Hannah Montana movie, she just finished signing autographs for 8 hours.

“I think the most memorable story [I heard] was when somebody said when they were going through a breakup, your song motivated them to get back in the game, and they give you the credit for that,” Swift says. “Or they heard my song and picked up a guitar and started writing songs and now have a way to channel their emotions. Things like that really move me.”

The blonde beauty, who tells OK! that when she does have down time she likes to paddle out on a surfboard to a cove on the lake near her home in Tennessee, says she recently treated herself to a custom tour bus (rumored to cost $1 million!)

“It was rather expensive,” she confesses, “I’m not sure that it was quite $1 million but it was pretty up there. I got a custom-made tour bus with a fireplace, a pull-down treadmill, all kinds of cool stuff. It’s got hardwood floors.”

She adds, “I had to have it because that’s what I live on . The majority of my time is spent on the road, and when I’m out there you want to be comfortable and feel like you’re home.”

Taylor, who first started writing songs when she was twelve, says she often uses music as a way to channel her own emotions. Some might even call it a rebellious side.

“I think everybody has a little bit of rebellion in them, but for me, it comes out in my songs,” she says. “My rebellion is writing a song about a guy and putting his name in a song.”

So who would Taylor’s dream duet be?

“John Mayer!” She exclaims. “He’s got such a unique voice that people would definitely be able to tell that it was him on the track.”

Taylor Swift has shown her charitable side by donating $100,000 to the Red Cross in Iowa.

The 18-year-old singer announced that she was handing over the cash to help the residents of the flood-stricken town at her concert in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Friday.

Cedar Rapids was devastated by the natural disaster in June, when the Cedar River burst its banks, causing millions of dollars-worth of damage.

And Swift felt obliged to help the locals after seeing the extent of the carnage first hand.

She told People.com, “The people in this town have been through so much loss this year, and my heart goes out to them. They’ve stood by me, they gave me a sold-out show. You’ve got to pay it forward in life, and that’s what I’m doing here tonight.”
But a source claims Swift almost pulled the gig altogether following the flood.

An insider says, “Taylor was going to cancel the concert, thinking few people could attend, but the mayor of Cedar Rapids asked her to carry on.”

It’s not the first time Swift has displayed her generosity. In January, she donated a brand new pink truck - a present from her record label to mark her 18th birthday - to a youth camp for kids with serious medical conditions.

And earlier this summer she gave her merchandise sales from the Country Music Association Music Festival to the Nashville Red Cross.

Taylor Swift has earned her high school diploma after signing up for home tuition from a Christian school.

The 18-year-old reveals her papers recently arrived in the mail.

Swift had to give up her regular high-school education when her career took off and she turned to the Aaron Academy to help her complete her studies.

And she’s thrilled that she was able to learn on the road: “There’s something really exciting about getting to live your dream and continue your education at the same time.”

Taylor Swift calls the news about Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s new baby “incredible.”

“Even just thinking about it now, I’m tearing up because I’m so happy for them,” she writes on her MySpace page. “When my mom and I got the news, we just sat there in the hotel room and got so emotional.”

She says the two are “such incredible people. They’ve always been so wonderful to people.”

When Kidman, 41, came to Nashville, Swift, 18, says the Oscar winner “treated everyone with grace and respect, and has always been so humble. I’m overjoyed for them.”

Kidman welcomed Sunday Rose Kidman Urban on Monday. The baby weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces.

After the baby’s birth, Urban, 40, thanked fans for their “thoughts and prayers.” He said their daughter is “beautiful” and that he and Kidman were “blessed.”
