A flirty outing at a bowling alley followed by lunch with a handsome ex who happens to play a werewolf: Is Taylor Swift’s social life heating up?
On Tuesday, the Grammy award winner was having a ball during a group date, which included best bud Selena Gomez, at a Studio City bowling alley. One big reason? She was getting close to Glee star Cory Monteith, who had “great chemistry” with the country singer, an eyewitness tells People.
“While everyone in the group seemed to get along great and had fun, Taylor received a lot of attention from Cory,” the source says. “Several times while they chatted, Cory pulled Taylor close to him and gave her a big, loving hug. Taylor seemed to love the attention and was beaming.”
The two were first snapped together at Clive Davis’s pre-Grammys party in January, and it seems Monteith is still scoring points with Swift, 20. “Cory definitely seems to be Taylor’s type – tall, dark and handsome,” the source says.
Swift’s lunch date on Wednesday – former flame and Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner – certainly fits that description. Joined by Swift’s mom, the exes grabbed lunch at The Farm in Beverly Hills on Thursday.
“The two looked very excited to see each other and seemed to have a lot to catch up on,” an eyewitness tells People.

The first-time presenter skips her usual tomboy chic for an utterly feminine, custom Monique Lhuillier navy trumpet gown, H. Stern diamond bracelet and a fresh updo.

According to Variety, Lionsgate has scored the much-hyped script Abduction, with Taylor Lautner attached to star. As EW described it earlier this month, it’s a “spy-actioner along the lines of Bourne Identity, but with teenagers.” The trade says Lautner will play “a young man who discovers his own baby picture on a missing persons website.” We presume he then tries to figure out who he really is while on the run, and that it’s someone who’s good at karate since Lautner is a black belt.
Lautner wanted to do a full-blown action movie after the Twilight series, and between this, Max Steel, and Stretch Armstrong, his wish is more than granted. The action-route is a smart one for Lautner, who is apparently determined to carry a film on his shoulders and needs to build his male fanbase. But we haven’t heard of any costars cast for these films yet, and for Lautner to mature as an actor, he’s going to need to share the set with seasoned pros (Valentine’s Day doesn’t count). I’m guessing there will be talented stars who will a) see the box office draw of Lautner and b) be told how happy an introduction to Lautner would make their child, and they’ll step up. Let’s just get on with it already. I want to know Lautner is being taken seriously in Hollywood (being asked to present at the Oscars was a good sign), but I can’t be sure until he’s not the only name attached to a film.

Taylor Lautner has signed up for ‘Abduction’.
The ‘Twilight: New Moon’ actor has been attached to the action movie, in which he plays a boy who discovers his parents are not who they seem.
Upon figuring out why he has felt disconnected to his mother and father, the movie enters ‘Bourne’-style action.
It is the latest in a string of action movies he has signed up to – Lautner is to play the lead in Universal’s ‘Stretch Armstrong’ and Paramount’s ‘Max Steel’.
In an effort to make sure there is time for Lautner to star in ‘Abduction’, sources have told Deadline Hollywood the studio Lionsgate are hurrying to find a director and finish off the script in time for July.
Lautner recently turned 18, and instead of promoting his latest movie ‘Valentine’s Day’, which had its UK premiere on the same day, he took some time off from the Hollywood scene.
He said: “I’ll spend time with family and friends… I don’t like to do anything huge, but it is 18, so, it’s kind of a big one I guess.”

But, when asked what he has in store, the actor simply replied, “Absolutely nothing really. I mean, I’ll spend time with family and friends.”
