I went and saw Twilight again this weekend, and man, I loved it more the second time (could have had something to do with the margarita’s I was drinking)! Just seeing the movie again makes me want more! I can’t wait to see New Moon!! Seeing Taylor Lautner getting ready for all the motorcycle riding that happens in New Moon gives me baby goosebumps!

The speculation is over: Taylor Lautner will get to play Jacob Black after all in the Twilight sequel New Moon.
Questions had arisen about whether the 16-year-old could effectively portray his werewolf character, who ages 10 years and grows much taller and bulkier in the film’s sequel. But Weitz said Lautner, who’s been hitting the gym to build muscle, is “emotionally right for the part” and has the movie studio’s full support.

I’m very happy to announce that Taylor Lautner will be playing Jacob Black in NEW MOON, and that he’s doing so with the enthusiastic support of Summit Entertainment, the producers, and Stephenie Meyer.
The characters in Stephenie’s books go through extraordinary changes of circumstance and also appearance; so it is not surprising that there has been speculation about whether the same actor would portray a character who changes in so many surprising ways throughout the series.
But it was my first instinct that Taylor was, is, and should be Jacob, and that the books would be best served by the actor who is emotionally right for the part.
I think that fans of TWILIGHT, the book and the movie, will be surprised by the Jacob Black that Taylor will bring to the screen in NEW MOON; and I’m looking forward to working with him and the rest of the cast in realizing the film.

According to sources around Hollywood, things may start looking very hairy for Taylor Lautner. The actor — not to mention legions of Twilight fans — has been desperate to learn whether Summit Entertainment will cast him once more as Jacob Black in the Twilight sequel New Moon.
This week, Summit is expected to announce its decision for the next film based on Stephenie Meyer’s wildly successful series of vampire romance novels. Kristen Stewart, 18, is set to return as Bella Swan, the beautiful human who falls for a softhearted bloodsucker. And Robert Pattinson, 22, has a lock on his job too; his turn as Edward Cullen, the hunky, soulful vampire, has made him an overnight superstar with young female moviegoers around the planet. But Lautner, 16, has a more uncertain future. That’s because the character he was so perfectly cast to play in the first Twilight film — a slim, baby-faced teenager — will be greatly expanded in the sequel. And by greatly expanded, we mean into a hulking, snarling, seven-foot Lycan. ”Jacob is a totally different character in New Moon,” says Melissa Rosenberg, screenwriter of both Twilight films. ”He’s a foot taller and huge — and he’s supposed to look 25. It’s really a question of whether or not the same actor can play the role.” Rosenberg is quick to add, however, that ”everyone would love to keep him. We all think he’s the loveliest person ever.”
Lautner’s certainly been doing everything in his mortal power to hang on to the part. Since Twilight, he’s gained 19 pounds and is promising to pack on 10 more before shooting starts on New Moon this March. And judging from a widely reprinted red-carpet interview, he’s not shy about letting Summit and New Moon’s director, Chris Weitz (who joined the franchise last month after Twilight’s director, Catherine Hardwicke, left over creative differences), know that he has the chops for the gig. ”My job for Twilight was to bring Twilight Jacob to life — the friendly, happy-go-lucky little Jacob,” he told MTV News. ”My job for New Moon is completely different. I’ve been looking forward to that. I’ve been getting ready for it, and I can assure them I will follow through with that.”
Taylor Lautner is packing on the pounds in the hopes of convincing Twilight producers he should return in the sequel, New Moon, as a bigger and more mature werewolf Jacob Black.
“I have been working out. I’ve been working out since the day we finished filming Twilight. I just weighed myself today; I’ve put on 19 lbs.,” Lautner told MTV on Wednesday night at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Salute to Young Hollywood party.
Although Summit Entertainment has yet to give him the job, Lautner, 16, is the overwhelming favorite among fans to return over reported candidate Michael Copon of Scorpion King 2, according to a PEOPLE poll.
And Lautner says he’s meeting this week with director Chris Weitz to make – and show – his case.
“I’m guaranteeing Weitz 10 more [pounds] by filming,” the star said at the InStyle-sponsored bash in West Hollywood.
Twilight costar Ashley Greene is already in Lautner’s corner.
“We all love Taylor. He’s such a sweet guy, so sweet and I think that he gets the part,” Greene tells PEOPLE. “And the thing is that the girls just love him. He is the teen heartthrob. … I’m hoping that they don’t replace him because we love him.”

Hundreds of shrieking fans turned out Monday for the Los Angeles premiere of Twilight.
Robert Pattinson, who plays sexy vampire Edward, told Usmagazine.com he was used to all the hoopla by now, “but this week it feels like it’s grown so much bigger.
“They all just scream at me and now it just kind of feel like my job,” said Pattinson, who joked with MTV News that he’d gone “completely deaf” at the premiere.
Just the other day, Pattinson realized, “there were some girls who had scratched … the side of their necks so [they were] freshly bleeding when they came up to get a signature.
“They were like, ‘We did this for you.’ I didn’t know what to say. ‘Um, thanks guys?’”
Some fans who turned out for Monday’s premiere of the popular vampire literary series-turned-movie even camped out overnight to secure a place in line. More than 600 people were allowed inside special holding areas along both sides of the premiere’s red carpet.
“The only thing I can compare it to is, I was in a Star Trek movie when I was like 11 and that was a big deal for a 11-year-old kid,” star Mike Welch told Us. “But this is unlike anything I’ve seen before or been apart of.”
Added star Justin Chon, “I can’t even wrap my head around this right now. It’s so crazy. It was nothing I was expecting.”
But actress Kristin Stewart, who plays Bella Swan, told Us she gets why fans are so obsessed.
“The book is pretty hard core and the fans are passionate, so I understand it,” she said. “I’m looking forward to seeing the movie. Everyone is talking about it but nobody has seen it. It’s hard to talk until you see it.”
Can viewers expect another Twilight installment?
“No word yet,” Cam Gigandet said. “It all depends on how the movie does when it comes out. But we’re signed on for three if it happens.”
Methinks this movie is going to do juuuuuuuuuuust fine.
