Tara Reid has entered rehab, the actress’s rep told Usmagazine.com on Friday.
“Tara Reid has checked herself into Promises Treatment Center,” her rep told Us. “We appreciate your respect to her and her family’s privacy at this time.”
In 2006, Reid, now 33, opened up to Us Weekly about her party girl image.
“I’m not always drunk. My picture is taken only when I have a cup in my hand,” she said. “Trust me, my body is tired. I partied hard. But I think it was that the people I partied with were not the best people.”
She called her short-lived E! series, Taradise, “probably the stupidest thing I ever did.
“It was a mess,” said Reid, who underwent a botched breast augmentation and stomach liposuction that left her disfigured in 2004. “I didn’t know it was going to ruin my career. People forget I’ve done, like, 20 movies. I’m not just a party girl.”
Reid — who just launched a clothing line, Mantra, and who has been dating Julien Jarmoune — said the next step in her life was “meeting a nice guy and getting married.
“Have kids and get my acting back,” the American Pie star told Us in 2006. “I feel like my rainbow is starting to come.”

Tara Reid has a message for anyone wishing to criticize her body: Enough already!
After unflattering bikini shots of her surfaced last week, Reid faced a barrage of Internet attacks aimed at her post-surgery figure. “I’ve been a media target for years now,” the actress, 33, tells PEOPLE. “It does hurt my feelings, but what can I do? I have to move on.”
Yet moving on has been difficult, especially because Reid has to live with the evidence of the past – the scars on her stomach from a 2004 liposuction surgery and subsequent reconstructive surgery in 2006. “They are my battle wounds,” she says of her “uneven” abs.
Producing independent films like 7-10 Split and working on her first clothing line, Mantra, keeps her busy. The line of bikinis, t-shirts, and casual wear is inspired by her moods.
“Red is for love, green for luck, white for peace – everything gives you a mantra of the day,” says Reid, who is currently dating business partner Julien Jarmoune. “I made this line about feeling good about yourself.”

Tara Reid has no plans for marriage right now.
The 32-year-old actress’ rep is shooting down a tabloid report that Reid and her fashion executive boyfriend, Julien Jarmoune, are engaged.
“Not true,” the rep says. “It’s just a bunch of lies and rumors.”
The rep did, however, confirm that the two are dating.

Tara Reid is to marry French fashion boss Julien Jarmoune after a whirlwind romance, according to reports.
The pair met while Reid was researching her new fashion line Mantra, and have quickly fell for each other, claims the National Enquirer.
A friend tells the tabloid, “Tara’s really in love with this guy, and he’s had an amazingly calming effect on her.”
And pals are crediting J + Company boss Jarmoune with changing 32-year-old Reid from a party-loving wildgirl into a mature businesswoman.
The friend continues, “She’s trying to clean up her reputation. Julien has definitely changed Tara for the better. It looks like she’s finally gotten her act together. They’re talking about a wedding next summer.”

Tara Reid has abandoned hopes of reviving her acting career and is launching her own fashion line in a bid broaden her appeal.
The American Pie star debuted Mantra – a collection of swimsuits and casual wear decorated with beads and charms – in Las Vegas on Monday.
She says, “I feel like I’m in a really great place in my life, and I love what I’m doing. I love acting but I can’t hire myself. If this works, then we’re in business. If not, I tried.”
And Reid is looking to the line for inspiration in other areas of her life.
She adds, “It’s about putting into the universe what you want in life: Red means love, pink is friendship, green is lucky, black is protection. You’re gonna have a story when you wear this bikini or when you put this dress on: You’ll either get love or meet a new friend or you might meet a guy.”
And if the actress’ color palette doesn’t help, Reid has developed another solution; her swimsuits feature flirty messages including “Catch Me If You Can” and “Single and Ready to Mingle”.
