Tara Reid is 40 and looks skinnier than ever, as shown by these pictures from Sharknado 4: Awakens taken last month. Now, we pretty much KNOW Tara Reid through three things: American Pie, Sharknado and her body. She’s had a scrutiny placed on her body because of some botched liposuction issues, which she’s been open about in interviews. She’s also been more healthy looking in the past. Tara has heard the complaints that she’s too thin and that she should eat a burger and she made an open call to have people stop body shaming her, thankyouverymuch.
After years of being under fire for being too skinny, Tara Reid speaks out to In Touch magazine in a new exclusive interview about her body.
“I feel great about my body. People always tell me to eat a burger — I love burgers! If I were to gain 10 pounds, I’d be asked why I got fat. I’m thin — and I’m good with that,” Tara admits to In Touch.
“People need to stop with the body shaming!” declares the American Pie actress. “I won’t let what anyone says stop me from enjoying my life.”
Known for her party girl reputation, Tara admits, “I like to have fun when I’m not working. But I’m professional while I’m at work, and I’ve never been in trouble or arrested, so I don’t deserve it!”
“I truly feel I need to constantly prove myself in this business. I’ve done 46 movies, and it’s still tough to get roles when you’re misunderstood and judged,” she says of her misconstrued reputation.
“I’ve learned to not take things too seriously,” Tara tells In Touch, “and that not everyone is going to love you.”

Now, it’s a difficult situation, because unlike lots of people who are judged if they lose or gain, I feel like nobody would tell Tara she’s fat if she gained 10 lbs, because she’s so frighteningly underweight. They’d say she looked healthier. But again, it’s her life and she can do with it what she wants. So yeah, people SHOULD stop telling her what to eat.

Oh, I’m digging this has-been feud!
Tara Reid had a very bizarre interview with Jenny McCarthy that turned quickly into a bickerfest, but it isn’t over yet!
The Sharknado actress got into a fight with the boisterious Sirius XM radio host after Jenny asked Tara some hard-hitting questions: namely, is her marriage to Dean May okay, how much plastic surgery she’s had, yadda yadda, yadda. The interview got quickly heated culminating in the American Pie alum storming off the set.
In order to defend her side of what went down, Tara had herself a Facebook live chat with DailyMail and DISHED:
“I’m not really sure what happened there, I mean look I’m here to promote Sharknado which is a fun film, and I went in there happy and excited and in good spirits to do an interview with Jenny, I thought it would be fun… Talk about Sharknado, that would be fun…And everything that we were not supposed to talk about, she wanted to speak about and it just got crazier, yeah.”
Some things Tara doesn’t wanna talk about, DIG? And Jenny Did. While Tara says she is over the incident, she left the chat with a little shade:
“Do you know what at the end of the day I’m happy for Jenny that she wound up getting a radio show that people now know that exists and that’s even on air… good for you Jenny.”

DANG! Something tells me we haven’t seen the end of this feud!

This is as dressed as I’ve ever seen Tara Reid.
The actress was actually in appropriate, somewhat tasteful clothing (those boots, though, oof) when she was spotted out for dinner at Bouchon in Beverly Hills, California yesterday. And I gotta say, girl looked pretty good in her black leather and jean look.
I hope she’s doing well- we haven’t heard much from her since we found out she would be appearing in Sharknado 3.
What’s your opinion of the American Pie actress, these days?

Syfy’s Sharknado franchise is keeping it old school and giving the people (me) what they want (Tara Reid and Ian Ziering).
The two actors have signed on to reprise their roles in Sharknado 3, along with original director Anthony C. Ferrante and Thunder Levin writing the script. This time… the windy-toothy monster will cause mass destruction in the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C., than tear down the Eastern Seaboard!
Sharknado 2: The Second One aired in July and was Syfy’s most-watched original movie ever with 3.9 million total viewers. I can only hope the same or better for Sharknado 3.
Will you watch?!
