Sylvester Stallone excused from jury duty

Sylvester Stallone

Sylvester Stallone has has escaped jury duty in Los Angeles.

The Rambo actor showed up at an L.A. courthouse early yesterday and was introduced to other potential jurors in an upcoming wrongful termination trial. But the 61-year-old was given a pass.

I don’t remember who said it, but why would you trust your fate to twelve people who are too stupid to get out of jury duty?

Rambo 5 to be set in Bulgaria

Sylvester Stallone

Rambo is heading to Bulgaria for a fifth film, according to internet reports.

Sylvester Stallone’s action man will return for one more adventure following the success of the actor/director’s recent Rambo. And Moviehole.net reports the streets of Bulgaria will double for Rambo’s native Arizona in what is likely to be the final installment of the franchise.

Bulgaria has reportedly been chosen because it’s much cheaper to film in Eastern Europe than it is in Arizona itself. Stallone’s iconic soldier was seen returning home to visit his father in Arizona at the climax of the most recent Rambo movie.

Sylvester Stallone plans another Rambo sequel

Sylvester Stallone

Sylvester Stallone is planning a fifth Rambo film following the success of his ultra-violent 2008 sequel.

The action man has revealed he’s started writing a fifth installment of the franchise - but the next Rambo movie will be very different from the shoot ‘em up jungle adventures his character is most famous for.

Stallone tells Swedish newspaper Metro, “I would like to take Rambo to another genre, experiment a little with the character. It would definitely not be another war movie. I can’t go any further with that than what I’ve already done. What it’s going to be like, I’m not going to reveal at this point. But I’m already halfway though writing the manuscript.”

Stallone’s Rambo films started more than 25 years ago with First Blood. Rambo: First Blood Part II and Rambo III were released in 1985 and 1988 respectively.

Sylvester Stallone’s scary warning for daughter’s future boyfriends

Sylvester Stallone

Sylvester Stallone is threatening to dress up as Rambo to dissuade boys from dating any of his three daughters, Sophia, Sistine, or Scarlet. Although they are still young, Stallone has already hatched a plan to deal with potential suitors.

He says, “I pity the first knock on the door for a date. I’m gonna buy ten more Rambo outfits to make sure they are scared to put a foot wrong. They’ll run a mile which suits me fine.”

Sylvester Stallone is set to make a fifth Rambo movie

Rambo

Rambo star, Sylvester Stallone has been given the go ahead to make a fifth Rambo movie.

The 61-year-old actor is set to shoot another movie about the war veteran after the fourth installment brought in $18.2 million at the box office last weekend.

Harvey Weinstein said, “We’re planning another adventure for Rambo. He’s been to Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Myanmar in the last three movies so we’re bringing him back to the US.”

Film bosses want to move forward with the project before Sly is too old to cope with the tough action scenes.

An insider said: “Sly is 61. He can’t be an action hero forever.”

New Rambo movie is the most violent yet

Sylvester Stallone

According to sources, the new Rambo movie is the most violent yet and has more than two on-screen deaths every minute. There are a total of 236 kills in the flick!

Only one character lost his life in the first Rambo in 1982.

The fourth movie is set in Burma and Sylvester Stallone’s character is trying to free a group of Christian missionaries who’ve gone missing.

Chicago Sun-Times movie critic Mike Thomas wrote: “How violent is Sylvester Stallone’s new “‘Rambo’ film?

“Put it this way: If you were to make it a drinking game and then take a slug of booze each time someone buys the farm, you’d either become monstrously drunk or possibly dead yourself from alcohol poisoning by the time the end credits roll.

“Beheadings, disembowelment, exploding bodies, decomposing bodies, raping, torturing, hanging — you name the most depraved level of man’s inhumanity to man (and woman and children), and it’s most likely represented onscreen.”
